I have defended this team while everyone else ridiculed me because I felt they worked hard and deserved a chance.  In return they quit trying and folded.  I have just had it.

Well, the people who ridiculed you were right.

This is one of the deepest teams we have had in a long time and possibly the best D corps or one of the best D corps we've ever had.  This team is loaded with talent.

A realist has major opinions that are commonly viewed as existing or practically achievable. A visionary has major opinions that are commonly viewed as nonexistent and perhaps unlikely to ever be achieved

A realist is a person who looks for answers on the ground, ignores all possibilities and says it can’t be done. A visionary ignores negative viewpoints, looks up toward the light for solutions for all problems and says why not try?

A lot of people will tell you that winning the NCHC is more of an accomplishment than winning a natty.  Imo winning a natty is about havig a good team but you gotta get hot at tournament time.  In 2016 we got red hot at NCAA time.  Winning the NCHC is about consistency.

Not a single person with a functioning brain will say this.

And you don’t see a connection between his Twitter page and his brand/image? This is how social media works. Who’s simple minded now?

He’s generating interest, he’s being provocative, he’s driving conversations, he’s riling up “haters” and probably gaining Twitter followers. Why do you think people in his position would even take the time to tweet if they weren’t furthering that goal.

Crazy that even NDSU fans just view Izzo as nothing more than an internet troll.

    Welcome to journalism in 2022.
    Clicks and views, nothing more.

Except there were no clicks or views. He tweeted it. It wasn't some story linked to a website where he wanted to generate traffic. He said what he said cause he believes what he is said is entirely possible. Only once did he receive backlash did he start claiming that it was just "hypotheticals". If you're just going for "clicks and views" why not make the speculation crazy? He didn't because that's not what he was doing.

You may be right, but per my post above, what would you write about if you’re in his position? Gotta be tough.

Hypothetical FBS scenarios clearly is something driving readership. Here we are discussing it right? Looks like Dom did his job well to me.

So Dom's job is to post outlandish things and get people talking about it? So, he's literally no better than a tabloid writer?

Maybe I’m different than you, but things I don’t give a !@#$ about don’t get posted about. They actually don’t even enter my mind. The act of posting shows you have an opinion about it, which by definition is giving a !@#$.

Weird way of admitting that you are much more simple-minded than most people.

Actually I’m not sure it is.

What Dom Izzo said is stupid and his butthurt rant about "UND Rubes" calling him out was hilarious. I also don't give a !@#$ what NDSU does. There, I proved it.
