Boosters who care about football are the ones who are the one who could afford the buyout. If they are not contacting Chaves unprompted then we don’t have the boosters willing to pay for it. Do you think A&M reached out to boosters to see if they would pay for a buyout???? No the boosters were beating down the AD’s door demanding a firing. Chaves door must be safe ….

Kid we had big money to fire the staff and to bring in a big time coach I would be all for it! We can’t afford it though unless someone is willing to write the check!

Key word SOME very good players. I’m not sure it’s just the scheme is lacking. Need some better dudes on the outside. LB’s and ends couldn’t get to the QB. I’m willing to change the defense but I don’t think that’s the root of the problem.
