  1. I guess Kinsey is gone for one...the other player ...who knows ...Seales no longer has any reference to UND on his twitter...McCauley play the first 2 games and then nothing and no mention of an injury....Trey's playing time trailed off the 2nd half of the season he could try to re-establish himself at the JUCO level next season. Moody might of decided that PT is not looking good for him ....Geno would need to graduate and get into grad school to play elsewhere , even if he could crank out enough credits over the summer the vast majority of D1 programs will have used all their schollys by then ...precluding him from cherry picking a new school.
  2. looks like he can shoot ok from the outside
  3. This years version lacked interior defense and rebounding....Juco McCauley apparently was not ready, I never seen a kid play the first 2 games then become injured for the rest of the season without an explanation or evidence of surgery smells fishy ...looks like jones decided to bank him for next year by putting an unable to play tag on him....Losing Collins was a blessing he could only muster up 5ppg and 3 rebounds for a lousy D2 program..... Word is Geno not eliglble to grad this year, this second hand info from a guy who covers the gophers online. The Big they signed from California closed out is career with 3 points and 17 rebounds in a loss... had no other D1 offers andHe looks like a lock to redshirt....6'6" Hazekamp from Iowa did hold a D2 offer from Augustana and put up impressive numbers averaging a very nice 13 rebounds a game 21.5 ppg and an impressive 45% from 3. Looks a bit slow defensively for D1 basketball. Bijiek 6'9 + 7'1 wingspan looks like he will start right away ..late bloomer with high major offers and a year off to train is game....I see him guarding the 5/4 and being able to score in and out of the paint...I expect Kinsey to graduate and move on, Franken looks to be in over his head and Jones needs to add another big who can play....also not very positive on their guard depth next season ...Summit looks very tough next season as 11 of 15 all conference kid can return and top 2 teams USD and SD St....lose very little via graduation....Daum will be a 5th year senior and could bolt or he can stay and play for the preseason fav next season ( (
  4. this kid still not up on UND verbal commits page
  5. Cheers....it does not matter if und wins or loses it is how they play the game
  6. It is now reported that there is a 95% chance that players will be able to transfer at the end of this season without having to miss pt.....Maybe jones can upgrade the front court in the upcoming wild free agent market
  7. not running down und players...learn how to read and understand the english language for starters... If you want to win at the D1 level on a fairly regular basis you need to recruit kids with multiple d1 offers....otherwise you have no chance...Brown looks like a 8-10 ppg kid at the D2 level and a 2-4 ppg at the low d1 level....He as a slow release, not athletic....Does play intense defense and never takes a bad shot...still only shooting 29% from the field...which is really low...for your information.
  8. Jones has 2 more seasons to right the ship and that appears unlikely....UND will not spring for more than a 1 year buyout....Will need to cut loose at least one coach Horner is doing the bulk of recruiting and team is taking too many d2 prospects out of iowa/quad cities....Shooting Coach davidson has brought in no recruits....and shooting is terrible....He is a pal of Jones but it looks like he needs to go...They need to hit MN. and Wisky plus D1 transfer recruits rather than small town stars from rural Iowa. Geno if he graduates by next fall is likely to grad transfers out....team takes a big hit when junior glass graduates....Jal is a stud recruit for UND....If Geno comes back next year, a non productive player leaves and is replaced by a solid juco or grad transfer, plus if JUCO McCauley plays up to his billing ...then next years team might be a solid Summit league team
  9. i thought 2nd comes after 1st....not 3rd
  10. poor rebounding, poor 3 pt shooting, least productive bench in D1 Basketball. looks like bottom 4 Team in BSC
  11. bsc rpi 18th.... lot better than most seasons
  12. Never put a coach is a lame duck year is 100% correct....jones had a solid year in 16 and everyone back for 17....so the extension should have happened in 16....or can him in 16. Faison was really stupid on the jones deal . Jones has not been recruiting all that well anyways...striking out a lot and ending up with too many kids no other D1 schools wanted....that being said this team is not playing up to their talent level....and that is on the coaching staff.... look at drake every one picks them last they are smaller than UND but the new coaching staff has them playing smart and tough small ball... Coach Jones will get a pass contractually speaking for the next couple years ...but the next AD will not stupid enough to have a lame duck coach in order to save a 1 year buyout. Jones may well have to run a player or 2 off the team and work the D1 transfer route to get some pop in his lineup and save his job down the road... Was expecting coach Davidson to use his Australian connections to help with recruiting but that appears to have been a dead end
