  1. 13,300 is fire code capacity, will have to sell 1,000 GA standing tickets. This will be a challenge. If our student body participation was that of "Michigan", around 30%, we'd be at or higher than 13,300.
  2. Do you have something against people volunteering their time to atleast try to make things better? Should we not donate to charities, too, or is that OK with you?
  3. I don't like the comparison that others are making, I was adding some perspective to the numbers, UND vrs. Michigan. What UND lacks in big time FBS atmosphere can be mitigated by a sense of community and pride. Based on the percentages I feel we have room to improve. Student tailgating has been wild, but need more in the game. Overselling the student GA section will help for 2018. Maybe we need a student committee so it becomes 'their' idea.
  4. If we are going to look at Michigan and Alabama.......let's at least get the percentages established. UND has 2,000 student seats for 14,223 enrollment (I subtracted the 3 druggies kicked off the team and I did take off players, band, and cheer members, estimated total 183) 4th quarter had 400 students out of 14,223 or 2.81% (if you're a 1%er you probably killed someone, that's how elite this low of a percentage is) of the student base stayed for the entire game. At 2,000 that's only 14.06% of the student base. However, the most that have entered each game is closer to 11%. Michigan has a 2016 enrollment of 44,718. Their student section was as high as 21,000 in 2012, but is down to 14,000 today. So 31% to 47% of the student base attend Michigan games. Alabama has.......ran out of time.......but the point is, even at full UND student section capacity of 2,000 we are asking less than half of what Michigan gets, or less than a third of Michigan at it's peak.
  5. I would trade the Nickel for 1 of those at FCS level........
  6. I forgot what I was going to say.......
  7. I never said force anyone to stay. I said accept it and oversell it. Accept and Oversell!!! I am gundy and I approve my message.
  8. 4th quarter of an exciting 4 quarter game. It's hard to look at. Per quarter, my mental photos. 1st quarter - 80% 2nd quarter - 70% 3rd quarter 40%, and 4th quarter - 20%. I am sending this to Alerus, UND Marketing, and UND Game Day Committee (cause I am an agitator, that's right)
  9. The reason I would pull Hunt from kick return is because he's our best cover guy, and we don't have a close second without Reyes in the lineup. Most haven't notice his play cause good corner play can go unnoticed when the ball doesn't go that way much.
  10. Thanks CNN. I know guys in all those professions. All taking drugs....not really. I guess we hang in different crowds with people of different values.
  11. MEXICO!! -couldn't help myself
  12. After Caption Cream Puff 2017 the team in Fargo has 7 homes games in 2018 and 6 home games plus one in Minneapolis in 2019, I don't even know what to say but there are the haves and the have nots in FCS. The division and conference talked has cooled lately but it sure seems like 3 teirs of Division I is coming.
  13. I don't know that they do. Thru billeting with the Force, a former player is now at Mankato St. They piss test twice a week, at least for incoming freshman. Just put the testing in place and move on, makes sense to me.
  14. Thanks for the political rant- 2017 Season.
  15. Fair enough. Sorry about the language, that was the goose/red bull talking. We have to work with ticket master and oversell the student section. It is what it is. The in-game committee will be contacted.
  16. What the f do you mean? A 4 point game isn't good enough to stick around? I have photos dumb A. It was pathetic.
  17. What sections are UND students? Cause this is embarrassing. We should hand out 2,500 tickets for 2,000 seats.
  18. The real question is, "who is calling the plays today" It isn't me, wish it was.
  19. I kinda lumped in the posts before you, too, sorry about that. My quip was triggered by the comment that smoking pot has benefits for concussions, nice try by the NFL players backing that study. My biggest problem with this situation on a team is the divisiveness it creates. I doubt Wanzek (or whomever) is sitting around with Demon weighing up drugs and smoking a bowl. So he distances himself from that group of players. Now you have a pretty big split in the locker room, let's pull together on the field....? Where are the captions as others have asked? As pissed as I am, I must and will think about the majority of players that are doing the right things and are going to give everything they got tomorrow. I guess some scholarship money just opened up for 2018.
  20. I would. Trust, but verify.
  21. And here we go. We have a half dozen guys posting that if they were head coach, smoking pot would be required because of the 'benefits' and it is 'harmless', not addictive, and doesn't lead to anything else. LMFAO!!
  22. This is 100% true. My managers, at a training event, were told don't call or report anyone smoking pot in their residence or on the porch, we don't care.
  23. I think if you park at Taco Bell, see who frequents 4th meal, and you'll have your answer, pretty simple actually.
  24. Ya, those stubborn laws keep getting in the way of the entrepreneurial spirit we have on our team. In other news, UND School of Business loses 3 marketing/sales majors this year, happened to play football. That sucks!!
  25. That's right, undefeated and a couple pot charges = mostly harmless, but playing like crap, acting like fools, really couldn't get any worse. I will have to explain to my wife, kids, neighbors, friends, and extended family why I support the program so much. Seems like a legitimate question.
