  1. Let's talk some sports - Rhodes and Linval both got cut creating about $18.5 million in cap space.
  2. Will do. I think she was coming at it from the angle of having to make up days that were missed. I told her not to worry about it. The governor can make changes in emergencies if needed.
  3. For what it's worth, my wife mentioned that she did look up that the ND department of public instruction does not recognize any form of online learning from home. Obviously that could change, but currently we're not set up to do things remotely.
  4. Doesn't that almost seem inevitable at this point? I'm also wondering when the other shoe drops on the public schools around here. I think it's up to 6 states, DC and many cities. That's going to have a real impact on people (as has been discussed previously here). My wife is a teacher and she said they've discussed very little regarding what will happen.
  5. Sorry to hear that. A good reminder that pandemic or not, hug your loved ones. Call your friends. Be thankful for every day.
  6. He sounded terrible during that speech.
  7. Feel terrible for the guys on the teams. Especially the seniors.
  8. Wow...things are moving fast.
  9. Again, i'm not trying to fan doom and gloom I just think there's potentially fire to the smoke here. You may be right and this is all overkill. I don't know.
  10. And honestly I agree about trying to avoid a panic. There's so much information flying around right now, who knows what to think? Thanks for being civil. Cheers and Go Sioux!
  11. Yes, and all of those stats are foolproof since everyone has been able to get tested as needed. Keep on keeping on brother.
  12. The guideline from the health organizations currently is to quarantine. I guess they could choose to ignore that. I don't think that's the smart move but i'm not an expert either. I'm choosing to listen to the experts, but you can do what you want.
  13. From a practical standpoint, though, what is the NBA supposed to do once multiple players on a team test positive? They need to quarantine. Does that team just have to forfeit its games? What about all the players, media members, staffers, fans, etc those players have come into contact with? At some point their hands are tied. I guess i'm glad we have so many experts in our corner of the internet here.
  14. Now another Jazz player:
  15. This isn't encouraging.
  16. Guess we need to be more like the French
  17. http://www.ncaa.org/about/resources/media-center/news/statement-ncaa-covid-19-advisory-panel-ncaa-events
  18. Haha. The jokes pretty much write themselves in regards to Mariucci.
  19. No fans at Minnesota-Penn State semifinal
  20. Schloss retweeted something last night about Zac Brown Band cancelling its Detroit show and the Little Caesar's Arena people telling employees to expect more cancellations. Not exactly great news for the Frozen Four. Although the no fans thing would still be an option in the case of a hockey game (no sense in playing a concert to no fans)
  21. Nice! I strongly considered going but not a great time to get away from work. Excited to watch tonight though.
  22. How many UND fans do you think will be there tonight? Free tickets for current students and a relatively short trip for everyone else....would be nice to see a good UND crowd.
  23. I wonder if it was really necessary to put out a press release saying that a test had occurred....seems like it is going to get lots of people worked up for a potential negative test.
  24. I wonder how long it takes to get the test results. As of now, the latest information is that the result for the case here is still pending.
