This just cracks me up. If you are a Jones supporter, you get jacked for bringing up something previously discussed yet the "whack em" supporters just bitch about the same !@#$ over and over and over.

This is where it gets frustrating. Try to lay down some objective facts/information or assemblance of supporting logic and the obvious happens. So then I try to just go with innuendo like everyone else and i get ripped for no supporting evidence. Bet Sac State wanted to whack their coach a few years back.

Of this group, which went through a D1 transition?

Would be curious what career records are of big sky coaches while at said big sky school. The assumption being they face the same challenges we do. More specifically - non conference scheduling. Not seeking an excuse. Just a data point.

I'd be curious to know all the records of all the coaches in the Big Sky. With a few exceptions, my guess they all have mediocre records.

Can't say I disagree with much of this other than classifying the Summit as a mid-major. Both the Summit and Big Sky would be classified as low-majors. Semantics I guess.

Whoa, whoa. Hold on a second. Wasn't being critical of your posts. Took a general look at some discussion. Not smart enough to look at your posts specifically on my phone. Just saw some shots taken at players and labeled it "venom". My bad.

Wow. Another part of the world with basketball venom. Never knew it existed. Nike/Adidas thing seems a little overblown I guess. I think if you were to ask most players what they preferred for shoes, most would say Nike. Adidas has taken strides recently with lighter shoes though. If grades are an issue - that's a big deal though.

Hooker is hs recruit. Shanks is essentially a hs recruit. Cashman is a hs recruit. Crandall is a hs recruit. Seales is a hs recruit. McDermott is a hs recruit. Collins is a hs recruit. Programs "gamble" sometimes on transfers. It can be a short term solution. Hell, the Jacks have 2 transfers in their starting lineup. It doesn't always work out but to classify jones as nothing but a transfer guy just isn't true.

Just not gonna get into that again. Go back 40 pages for that I guess. I'm just saying, objectively speaking, if I am an AD in charge of evaluating whether or not to whack a coach, a rebuilding year after a second place year would give me pause for letting someone go. And it should.

For the supporters of a "whacking", I think this is where your case loses some steam.
