Well....might as well start the 2018 Season thread......can put a fork in the 2017 season.

At least we are leading the conference in something......dropped passes.

Well on the bright side, between last week and this week.....two games, I've only had to be pissed of for 4 quarters, because was no need to even care in the second half because the game was out of hand. Hoping we can get back into this the second half but I'm not holding my breath.

I agree, Studs has been good at times and this is not all on him. However it seems so many times we play a team with an amazing QB that is making plays all over the place, why can't we ever get a difference makers as a QB instead of a game manager. If we just swapped QB's in this game alone.....we might be ahead or at least tied. Their QB has single handedly beat us with his great runs and has had some nice passes. Our D has made a little of that easy for him though, but he is quick and not easy to tackle.

I've defended Rudy at times in the past........but 47 yards of offense so far...and almost to halftime. Yeah think it may be time for him to go.

Silver lining.....thank goodness Harris was injured before the season started so that hopefully will have him next year. Would have been a waste to have him playing this year. Well might as well redshirt Larson now too.....we aren't going anywhere and doing anything this year.

Rudy will probably throw on 1st down now......now that we are down 21 and they are expecting it.

No it's not....we've got like 7 starters out.

Could see on the TD run that the left side of the field was wide open.....we hardly had any defenders over there...that was easy pickings for them.

I might need to take back the bet where I said I'd bet my left nut we'd score more than 10 points, so we are down three OL today, not good. Hope we can still get some push and open a few holes.

You just stole my thunder, I was just going to say.....things are generally never as good.....or as bad as people think. We fell off a cliff for the day last Saturday, but I don't think the team completely fell off the cliff for the year and we all of the sudden reverted to a team who can't muster more than 10 points against MSU and is about to get run over by them at home. We certainly have some issues right now with injuries and some things to fix, that is for sure. But we still have some talent on the offensive side of the ball. I expect the guys to come out pretty fired up and ready to prove something come Saturday.

We will score more than 10, I'll bet my left nut on it.

My hopefully prediction is that Izzy makes a big play. It's now week 4....hopefully that is enough time for Rudy and coaches to figure out how to at least try and give one of your fastest guys on the team a chance to make a play. Hell throw a fly pattern to him on 1st and 10.....I don't even care if you over throw it by 5 yards....just try it!

So University of North Dakota does not have any type of dedicated sports show? I can't even find anything that seems that relevant when searching Midco, but maybe I'm missing it. So 27 years ago when we were DII and hadn't even made the playoffs UND had a 30 minute show dedicated to football. Now we are FCS and we have to settle for some commentators from a different state mentioning UND football for a few minutes during the week during their show? This seems ridiculous and a big step backwards.

I did not do a prediction last week as that game scared me going into it. The team will be much more focused this week and be able to overcome the injuries at home, especially if some of those questionable guys play, which it sounds like they will. UND wins 27-24
