  1. Yea but you play to win. If our team is ever down 3 to 4 goals I expect them to play with an edge like that also. I think a couple years back one of our guys took a run at a commit. Once on campus you might joke about it some but he you sign you have to let that go.
  2. Probably/hopefully making a stop at Tyus Carter's house. I really liked his film when I watched it.
  3. I have heard nothing officially but I think he would be a good option to look at. We loose 5 and I think we only have 3 really solid options of already committed guys. So I think the staff would try their best to get 2 of the 3 if possible.
  4. Zach Yon is 4th and this is his first full season on a not very good Fargo team. Cakebread is 16th but and I think he needs a change of scenery. I'm fine with a year in the NAHL as long as he goes somewhere that needs him to play the game he had last year. It's like Gersich, played a checking line with the USNDTP team but now is the second leading scorer in Omaha
  5. We students are off but I can tell you there will be alot back for the game. Saturday night is pretty much sold-out already.
  6. Sounds like a PWO with some position versatility User Actions Following SiouxFootballInsider‏@SiouxFootball DT Luke Keller of Bismarck High School has committed to #UND Football as a PWO. #keepitlocal
  7. Best guess if no one leaves early: Forwards (graduate 5) Chris Wilkie Rhett Gardner Shane Gersich Zach Yon (If no other commits) Someone yet to be named (Matthews, Boeser, or Simpson) Defenseman (graduate 2) Danys Chartrand Wolanin or Lagesson if he commits here If someone leaves early: Wolanin (if Lagesson commits) Shaw Evers
  8. Yup my bad read it wrong
  9. Looks like a Kyle Kilgore from East Ridge is coming as a preferred walk on. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2734535/kyle-kilgore

  11. Friday Chris Wilkie gets two goals and an assit on 7 SOG with 2 PIMS loss to Sioux Falls. Zach Yon stays off the point sheet with 3 SOG.Christian Cakebread only registers 1 SOG loss to Sioux City. Hayden Shaw gets 2 assists and 1 SOG in the loss to Shane's Omaha team. Shane Gersich gets a goal on 9 SOG with 2 PIMS in the win over Shaw's Waterloo team. Andrew Peski stays off the point sheet in the win. Dixon Bowen doens't register a point and had 2 PIMS win the win over Blaine. Mitchell Mattson gets an assist in the win over Andover. Gabe Bast gets a goal and an assist in the win over Vernon. Matej Tomek gets a day off. Saturday Matej Tomek stops 22 of 23 in the win for Topeka. Gabe Bast stays off the pointsheet for Penticton in a loss to Salmon Arm. Matt Kiersted gets a goal in the win over Centennial. Christian Wolanin gets an assist and 1 SOG in the loss to Chicago. Hayden Shaw gets an assist and 2 SOG in the loss to Dubuque. Zach Yon doesn't register any stats in the loss to Sioux City as does Cakebread.
  12. Abigail Thiessen commited to UND yesterday. Don't know much about here yet Edit: 21 GP 11 G 4 A 15 P 24 PIMS She was at the UND Wisco game in Wisconsin .
  13. I'm guessing Dayns Chartrand and a either Shaw or Wolanin if no one leaves. If just Jordan leaves than all 3 come in l. Evers and Bast would be considered if even more leave. I'd personally like to see how Evers could do outside of the U18 team. If Laggeson commits than he I think Shaw will move back.
  14. Brad E. Schlossman @SchlossmanGF · 9h9 hours ago A BCHL observer compared Gabe Bast to Troy Stecher - smaller in stature, very good in own end. Stecher also came to UND via Penticton. Hopefully if this is true its a great pick-up 0 replies1 retweet9 favorites
  15. I think I saw somewhere he was projected in the top 3 or 4 rounds. I would say on par or slightly above.
  16. 4 games played. One assist. 6 penalty minutes for Lagesson
  17. Got around to watching his Hudl. I think he would be a welcome addition as well. I think the staff has done a good job so far in regards to the RB position but I think we still need to find a burner. We have the power but once you wear them down you need someone with the speed to just run away from defenders and I think we need someone to fill that role. Davis looks like he has the potential to do that also if we are indeed looking at Nash he has the potential to be that speed guy as well. Davis film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/286385/charles-davis
  18. Looks like there is intrest to Centennial Offensive Lineman Tre Morris. http://www.northstarfootballnews.com/news_article/show/460969?referrer_id=877078 http://247sports.com/Player/Tre-Morris-36238 http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2120951/tre-morris
  19. Yea that's a great point. I doubt we know of everyone intersted so there could be one or two out there with potential to make an impact here. I think a Taz Bateman would be a nice speed compliment to the power backs we already have. That could also make way for Santiago to wait a year to learn the system.
  20. We could be. I personally think he would be welcome on either side. I really like the way he has patience for holes to open up while running. But he has good positioning in his defensive highlights.
  21. I have been told that Daniels might have some off the field issues that are deterring offers for him. Rumor is its to the point where SDSU and NDSU have said no to him. Don't think Bubba would bring that around the team. One other name I have seen once or twice is Nash Sutherlin from MO a state I think we're trying to get into more. He had 2,115 yards last year. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3070540/nash-sutherlin
  22. Yea his hudl says RB but I was thinking that change would be made he's got really good hands. Also another JUCO name I'm coming across a good amount is Kendall Huey from Pima Comminity 6'4" 240 DE with 22 tackles 6.5 for loss and a sack last year.
  23. We have offers to DJ Peluso, Kryston Hammon, Taz Bateman who fit that category. And a couple HS in Romontay Hill, Awarri Smith and Tyree Range.
  24. I think so teams are intersted but I think they would be partial offers or preferred walk on types of players. I also think that if they do end up going here at least one will be on the Defensive side of the ball. They are pretty good linebackers too and if you can redshirt them a year get them involved in the system and maybe alittle bigger they could be very good on that side of the ball.
  25. I agree with unproven but I think collectively the unit will be better than last year simply because they are the kind of runners that fit the system we are trying to instill here. It take a few games to get into and I think Simmons starts simply because he was in the system last year. But with Simmons Arrington and either one of the freshman or another JUCO it has potential to be a solid group with more potential than last year.
