We could be. I personally think he would be welcome on either side. I really like the way he has patience for holes to open up while running. But he has good positioning in his defensive highlights.

I have been told that Daniels might have some off the field issues that are deterring offers for him. Rumor is its to the point where SDSU and NDSU have said no to him. Don't think Bubba would bring that around the team. One other name I have seen once or twice is Nash Sutherlin from MO a state I think we're trying to get into more. Yea his hudl says RB but I was thinking that change would be made he's got really good hands. Also another JUCO name I'm coming across a good amount is Kendall Huey from Pima Comminity 6'4" 240 DE with 22 tackles 6.5 for loss and a sack last year.

We have offers to DJ Peluso, Kryston Hammon, Taz Bateman who fit that category. And a couple HS in Romontay Hill, Awarri Smith and Tyree Range.

I think so teams are intersted but I think they would be partial offers or preferred walk on types of players. I also think that if they do end up going here at least one will be on the Defensive side of the ball. They are pretty good linebackers too and if you can redshirt them a year get them involved in the system and maybe alittle bigger they could be very good on that side of the ball.

I agree with unproven but I think collectively the unit will be better than last year simply because they are the kind of runners that fit the system we are trying to instill here. It take a few games to get into and I think Simmons starts simply because he was in the system last year. But with Simmons Arrington and either one of the freshman or another JUCO it has potential to be a solid group with more potential than last year.

I don't think there's enough solid info public to know who it is 100% but I know for sure Arrington was suppose to be on campus with Rabb. That is why I'm leaning towards Arrington. I also think Daniels is going to be a good player and if we get him I think that would be the extent of RBs for us. With Simmons, potentially Arrington, Olivera, Santiago, Sharp (who I think has the potential to leave) and Daniels gives us a lot more options than we're had before. Though I could see one of the potentially 3 Freshman red shirting and bringing in one more JUCO.

Schmaltz is getting a lot of time on the PP it seems and hes playing more of a Frattin role during Frats last year.

Of note. Mikey Daniels of South Dakota favorites a lot of Maurice's tweets in recruiting. I'm hoping we still have some room for him. I would guess he's waiting on something from Nebraska as he has a lot of Twitter action with them. But him and Olivera could be a good tandem in the future. Gersich made a great move and lots of speed led to his goal he flat out beat the defenders to get to goal.

Watching him play in the JR. A right now and he's much more than a role player. As a pretty polished offensive game. I had the exact same thought after some of his first shifts.

He was at the Women's Basketball game on an official visit last night. He and his family were greeted my 4 to 5 football players (I saw Hinojosa and Harmston for sure). Looks like USD and Montana State have offered him. I also believe he played at SDSU his first year college.
