I don't know about any of you But I'm already getting a little tired of the Lake stuff & the Redhawks are OK once in awhile (Just can't ever get really hooked on the Twins) until playoffs - if they are there Football will be kinda interesting (Vikings) if Bollinger does OK But I'm really missing Hockey Too bad the Ralph (or Hockey towns) dont have a summer hockey league - with really good older & younger guys on teams that play all summer - say on a Tuesday Wed. or Thurs. Competitive but Fun - Serious but not a feeder or semi-pro thing - although a USHL type summer season would be kinda cool too a place to go have a Beer & enjoy some Hockey

I should link this to the Sioux name page &/or Football page to get other thoughts - especially on the Logo & Alerus ? I wonder if the anomosity is common at other Hockey schools - the guy I spoke to was never a Hockey fan at any level

I guess I did not realize how much animosity there is between Football Players & Hockey Players But I have come to learn that they are not each others biggest fans I know some of you young guys will say it's over women I also asked a UND Football player about the Sioux Logo & why they have not embraced it like the Hockey team - He immediately got into how the Alerus Center does not feel like a home field because it does not have much, if any, UND Logo or recognition to it (I think he liked the Logo - just it seems to be more Hockeys) Is the city just being PC ?

rumors & the truth - you would think this was about big walleyes or something important I did recently speak to a UND Football player that said if Dale had left, he was not going to play & that others seemed to feel the same way (?)(?)(?) & Buning would have been to blame I don't know much about Buning - he seems like he would make a good cheer leading adviser - But maybe that is a good quality to have ? Some of the coaches at UND , while they are very good - they are also maybe overly serious & hopefully they are not that way ALL the time ? ---Must be about $$$ that can sure make people who normally are meek & mild turn into tazmanian devlis in a hurry (?) Today with reality everything TV & 24 hr political bashing news programs & entertainment gossip mags. & tv- we think we need to know & even promote controversy & should have behind the scenes info on everything I like the "Don't sweat the small stuff & most is small stuff " philosophy - There is a time to be serious & a time to have FUN & loosen up or lighten up (so unless Brad S or PCM or Cathy W or Pats W (I mean S) - bring it to our attention - it is probably none of our business) ..................with that said I start 2 weeks of Vac tonight

I guess it works = now when ever we see a cop, we buckle up before he /she gets close I do agree there are so many dumb things people do to themselves Pretty soon, if you don't have a weather radio (that comes on everytime it rains & wakes you up) & you die or get hurt in a tornado - you will be shuned by society There sure are alot of people in the world - for how dangerous everything is or is it they just have to pay for the new jail some how
