legally or UND wise - I don't think the Foundation has anything to say about it Earl Strinden was on the Radio afterwards saying the same ol stuff the commercial from the Ralph says every home game - Unless they have some new ideas or a plan from Ralph (before he passed on) & I hope it's not just a Radical excentric request - what else can they do ? Unless they have the Big $$$ to buy the name once & for all What keeps eating at me is how most if not all Tribes no longer use Sioux - Instead they have changed back to original names Lakota / Dakota Etc. or Like Spirit Lake, went with Nation - Didn't the NCAA give a pass to one of the other big schools because there were not really any left ? Even the little Tribe down in Shakopee (with all the Casino $$$) now calls themselves something else & I thought they were once part of the SIOUX from Fort Yates (Or Sisseton) ? ? ? - But you sure don't see them sharing the wealth with them or any other Sioux

I like Just Mallards I don't relate to them being fighters If Fighting is important Fighting Calvary is the way to go Like I said ask the tribes (every member) to vote on it ASAP & while asking make the request permanent If we lose - lets change ASAP not wait 3 years All the other BS has been said over & over - Nows the time, Lets us continue to honor you, or it's over & lets move on. I hope we keep the Name Fighting Sioux for Ralph's sake & what he gave us for the REA - I wonder what he would say & do now after this ? ? ? If the Tribes (majority) have not heard or figured out what we are about by now. What the heck will 3 yrs do for us - Unless his (Ralph's) Foundation gets new blood & finds a way to win them over - I'm sorry but the same old song & dance from Strinden is not going to do it. The New President & AD are not going to want to deal with it. I also wonder if he (Ralph) gave Betty or his daughter any instructions in case this happened again ? I don't think taxpayers want anymore to do with it & what can the rest of the Alumni & Fans do ?

I was out SOB hunting when I heard the news I was really disappointed I say it's time for Strinden to fade into the sunset (I don't want to hear from him again) & Stenejem should give up on politics The State board is weak & sad The NCAA is Pathetic I say ask both tribes one more time for a vote from all their members (To heck with their so called leaders) No bribes or political smoozing - We want to continue to Honor them, but we have had enough If they want to be completely Soverign ..... so be it & Good Luck I say do this ASAP - if they say yes it's over - No lets move on & Boycott their Casinos..........Go Fighting Calvary
