Doesn’t make any difference if we are talking about a school superintendent, minister, hospital administrator, or city administrator.... what are your expectations and will you put the money behind them to do the job right.... I think we need to keep the focus on the future....do some of the coaches need to go or be reassigned? Buying out anyone is just admitting you made a bad mistake several years prior... A new AD will have a lot of work to do....Ozzie has a good handle on this.... start some fundraising right away I get the washing machine comments.... really get them!

For 4 years I have been saying,”Give it time. This will take 4 years.” We are in year 5. Have we had some ups and downs? Yes. Is there a slow, but steady improvement? I don’t know. Getting rid of all coaches every few years is not good for the program. It speaks volumes to any coach who applies and to recruits. I continue to stand behind Bubba but think someone needs to fix the washing machine....,the perception is it is broken, maybe in more than one place!

Morning paper had all sports except football and early signing.... about 5 for us, maybe 8 for NDSU, and A LOT for SDSU.... just saying

Books by Jon Gordon... there are several... deal with attitude and responding to challenges beyond your control. Many athletic teams ( and businesses) use these. Again the culture or attitude is so important and I felt the incoming class can help with that. Hope something can be done about these coaching issues.... that are reallybover my head.

Well, in my book RT coached those kids, defined a winning ethic, a climate of work and leadership, and then Dale coaches one year and wins the championship (I think I have that right). I just don’t see giving credit to someone who walked into a well developed team. I would say there was a very strong Sioux defense years before Dale appeared. Also, he was at the top of DII and did not have to climb the ladder to get there. Bubba et al are climbing a ladder.

For what I know, which isn’t much, this does not sound good. If you want a real fight and sabatogue.... demote one nurse and promote another and keep both in the same area. Recipe for disaster... maybe coaches are different.

Ira, I think you are spot on. Yesterday’s contents were knee jerk andmade in hurt and anger... let the dust settle and find out what the issues are... fix them. A new head coach every 5 years speaks volumes.... improve what we have. AD needs to monitor this and Bubba sets some parameters.....

I am getting a real graphic picture.... farting in Morse Code. 1) quit blaming everything on Muss et al.... we are here now for whatever it is worth 2) I think Option A or B...makes it simple 3) Balls is no longer politically correct.... gonadal fortitude is 4) someone, not sure who or how many people, has a lot of work to do before mid-December.... 5) some people are just NICE and don’t want to confont issues.... time to find someone who will tackle this..... whomever and wherever....

Quaint idea.... could have a call in, text, OR on-line poll about calls. I mean everyone “votes” while watching TV now. Seems there is no control over play calling. Even a multiple choice option.... ground, air.... long pass, short pass.... punt, QB sneak the possibilitrs are endless and could be used for offense, defense, and special teams.... on a serious note.... these decisions need to be announced BEFORE the December signing day

Part of the winning comes from the individual and then team drive to win.... happens in any group. Upperclassmen leadership is huge ( won’t go into a high school situation lacking that locally). I really think our last class of recruits has the potential. Coaches need to support and develop that....don’t waste this freshman class! play calling should have been monitored by someone from the get go.... these problems were present last season....someone is not doing their job but not sure who

WI shuts down when deer hunting starts.... seriously. Surgeons do NOT schedule elective surgeries. They do rotate about who covers and all of that. Sad to see these student sections.... don’t publish this too much or itcwill turn into a Republican/Democrat issue... maybe Congressional hearings too.

You are right on and did our AD clearly say someone needs to monitor calls??? There is a breakdown here somewhere...... fix it before we fire/change/hire coaches
