Same appears to go for the BIG although the Goof troop is yet to play.  Wisconsin had no answer for a team with a strong forecheck.

They were saying between periods of the St Cloud game that the Beavers played a perfect game against Wisconsin and aren't likely to play that good a game again and that UMASS had another gear that it could go to.  They basically gave the Beavers zero chance against UMASS.

Last change is huge for this team with the depth they have. These men are highly conditioned and are used to playing games on back to back nights. UMD should be worried.

Last change will definitely be a factor as we can match lines with the Koepke line.  Senden being out is an issue as he will not be able to be out against Koepke line.

That’s OK, he picked against us in 2016.
If they played a best of seven series I think UND would be a strong favorite to win it all.  Single game elimination I still would favor them over any team but the odds of winning four straight is not real high.  Even if you had an 80% chance of winning every game you play that only gives you a 40% chance of winning four straight.

Doesn't Schlossman also do a coin flip?

I think AIC is going to be a solid team.  This is a good opening round opponent for UND, especially for getting some of our injured players back in the mix.  They dominated their competition and won the regular season as well as the playoff title.  The Sioux should be able to take control of the game with their depth and explosiveness but they cannot just show up and think theyre going to win. #StCloud

If we can stay out of the box and skate four lines we should wear them down.  I am guessing AIC will shorten their bench early and that plays to our advantage with our depth.

I think that's  fair point, he is 67, so he's not getting any younger, also he might not want to deal with all the Politically Correct BS going on campus now, I forget why Denver let him go in the first place but didn't it have something to do with him saying something insensitive?

According to the Denver Post, Gwozdecky was fired due to lack of success at the NCAA tournament and an inability to agree to terms on a contract extension.

Here is a story we have written back January, talking to Lang about the QU series. https://seamoresports.com/2021/02/02/aic-is-grooving-head-coach-eric-lang-explains-why/

Here are all the articles we have on AIC so far, most from this year, and we have more coming this week.

A lot of the AIC roster is NAHL players along with USHL and a few European players and a few transfers.  This is a team that if we tend to business we should steamroll, but that is why we play the games on the ice instead of on paper.

Don’t think so...US International was based out of San Diego IIRC.

I was at that game when UND and the Hrkac Circus threw everything but the kitchen sink at the net but that kid in net for US International was hotter than a pistol and turned almost everything we threw at the net back.  I digress.

I'm not saying Wisconsin doesn't have talent but they aren't accustomed to playing a dump and chase style which the Beavers will force them to play to negate their speed.  We have had the heck frustrated out of us by that trap and we are very well accustomed to it.

This is a nightmare matchup for Bucky imo.

Dylan Holloway is a pretty big boy, with tons of skill.

    Their bracket is tough

    wisco’s bracket is a joke

Wisconsin will imo not be able to solve the Bemidji State neutral zone trap.  We play them usually every year and we have trouble solving it and we know it well.  Beavers frustrate Wisconsin and win this one imo.
