I guess I have a different opinion of hak than a lot of people.This season could have gone the way of Miami's...Hak deserves some credit for putting out the dumpster fire (dumpster fire used with permission granted by Oxbow6)...

adjustments are required when positive results are not being achieved or due to injury. of which neither is the case in this situation.

rodwell on the line with rocco and luke Johnson makes more sense to me, but pattyn has been working too.Our D core last night looked about as good as a college d core can look. Schmaltz is awesome, ladue may be our best all around defensman and I'm not even exaggerating here. His two way game is so fun to watch. For this team it all starts with them. I also like the balance in our lines, I'm not overly sold on pattyn playing with Luke and Rocco however we are winning so I'll drop it for a bit. We can't let off the gas, we need to play well and close tonight.

starman commented on at least 2 occasions about how this is the best job he's seen the north Dakota coaching staff do with any team. I think he's seeing the transformation in hak. I cant exactly put my finger on it but hak has really stepped to another level as a coach this year. imho

ill get off the topic, but dressing your team like that would be like sending your kids to school with a plaid shirt and striped pants.Ohio State's uniforms are a hot mess.

ohio state's helmets just clash something terrible and for penn states helmets, ugg. only the gophers have uglier uniforms.It was cool for Michigan...then Notre Dame did it...then Ohio State...and now Penn State. Overkill!

goth in my opinion is one of the top goalies in the country, if not the best. from what I saw when he was in fargo, he can just completely take over a game. that's what we've been missing since goehring. imhoI would be pleasantly shocked if we shutout the best offensive team in the NCHC.

one other thing, I believe if gothberg stays healthy he has the talent to take this team on his back and if the boys keep playing as a team I believe this could be our year to win it all

im a new poster, I really enjoy reading the threads on here but I thought id add one of my thoughts. since the Saturday n. mich. game it seems like hak started to become a different style of coach. he doesn't seem so set in his ways to just dump and chase and he's giving the defense a lot more free reign to pinch. I personally like hak as a coach and I believe by the end of his tenure as coach he will be regarded as one of the best coaches und ever had. this team is a lot more like the bc teams that beat us. hak is adjusting his recruiting style too. I think within the next couple years he'll bring home a natty. people in my opinion greatly underestimate the amount of talent on this team. imho
