Who can’t love that guy, bigger and stronger than he looks, great motor and am sure he’ll succeed at the next level or die trying! Never flashy, but one of my favorite players over the last four years!
I believe he will succeed. He is such a hard worker and has a pretty good skill set. He's become a pretty good skater and is an immovable object in front of the net. He's a heck of a good player to put out against the opposing teams top line as a shut down player. He is just so strong and tenacious.

Postpone makes perfect sense rather than cancel like they did. Postpone it for a month or so and see where we’re at. If we’re still knee deep in corona hysteria, then cancel. If not, get those tourneys rolling at campus venues or wherever. To just not have a champion after 9/10 of the season is played out is crazy.
I liked the idea of declaring UND the national champions based on the pairwise ratings. Let Denver and Duluth have their pitty party and hissy fit. We earned this title fair and square on paper just like how many college football national champions for many years.

it sucks no doubt, but we are right there often; sucks more for teams that don't have our sustained success. not gonna dwell on it, and hopefully we pick up where we left off next year.
Decision to cancel was made for the right reasons and it sucks, but it sucks for everybody. #9 would have been nice, but it is what it is.

Missing Smith is huge.

The Poehling sisters are a disgrace to college hockey
Is every team from Minnesota except Bemidji State full of divers. I lost any respect I may have formerly had for the clowns, which wasn't much.

This just in: Huskies to raise another banner tomorrow for getting 2 of 3 points against #1 team.
Seriously though, they need to reconsider those banners hanging in that high school rink...
I think the banners are ok. They got lots of them except no nattys. I wonder if they have a banner for most one and dones in the nat'l tourney?

I joined this forum a couple years back seeking knowledge from Sioux fans. It has become obvious 80% of you are douchebags that have no hockey knowledge at all. When your team is losing you put up 12 pages on a game night, when you are winning and number one in the country nobody says anything on this forum. If you are wondering what I am getting at, it is that if you have nothing to bitch about you don't say anything. The ultimate definition of a douchbag. UND 4-1
Bemidjie State is my second favorite college hockey team regardless of how you disrespect the members of this form. Sure glad the Beavers don’t share your lack of class.

Not an overwhelming vote of confidence in Scheel (and rightly so) but a sweep it is.
#InDavewetrust
Scheel is who we need in the net come tourney time. Scheel is imo by far our best goaltender.

Wilkie has 122 shots on goal with the next closest player for CC being Cruikshank with 72. Wilkie is going to try to shoot every puck he sees which might end up with numerous odd man rushes for us if we can get in lanes and block shots.

UND needs to travel with a shrink for when we have these goaltending issues.

Can’t let the Miller line run wild like last night. Don’t agree with starting Thome.

The Hain/Senden/Smith line was a combined -9 tonight, worst among all lines. The Adams line was -8, Weatherby line was E, and Pinto line was +4.
You are right, but on the other hand the Miller line was also +10 when Berry did not have last change. An all around poor effort defensively tonight for UND. I would argue that if this were a home game Berry would have matched Sendin line against them. I feel that this last change issue also gets our top line of Adams, Guch and Mishmash out of their comfort zone. I think what I am getting at is that not having last change really discombobulates this team.
-
Same issue in 2016 when we went to Denver and got swept when Barry couldn't match Gardner, Paganski and Johnson against the pac rim line. Berry needs to start figuring out a plan B for when we don't have last change because come tourney time it will become a huge issue.
-
We had the same issue tonight when we didn't have last change. The other 3 lines have got to do a better job defensively. We are deep, but championship teams shut down the opponent's top line even without last change.
-
I'm fairly new here, but one thing I have seen with this team is that when we do not have last change we are at a definite handicap. Against Miami we could not match Sendin's line with the Miami top line and we were very handcuffed because of it. Our other lines have just plain and simple got to do a better job defensively against the opposition's top line. Let's face it most of the teams we play skate one usually really good line, maybe two and when we lack last change our lines other than Sendin, Smith and Hain haven't gotten the job done shutting down the opposition's top line.

thats the type of hockey the rodents coach and play pretty chicken s(;/t in my bookIf Rau didn't take so many dives I wouln't dislike him as much. He has talent, no need for him to flop like a fish; though that is often due to the officials that let him get away with it too.

I'm no expert, but I think that means that we're going to beat Union 5-2.
My daughter got diagnosed with strep throat yesterday so im guessing sioux gonna win it all cause thats how it works. Years from now ill be telling ill never forget #8 because thats when my daughter had strep throat. Thats how crazy stuff works dont ask me how but it just does

rau is my all time least favoriteActually I'd be embarrassed if he was mine, he was cheap by anyone's standards.

one thing is that belfour was a 22 or 23 year old freshmani see zane finishing out his senior season. Goth to me is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential i believe this kid is a special goaltender. Dont know if he is the caliber of belfour or not but hes going to leave his mark in the pro game imho

Dont know if he is the caliber of belfour or not but hes going to leave his mark in the pro game imhoI'm thinking Zane gets traded. Too many goaltenders in that stable in Boston. And with continued development I'm thinking Zane could be NHL ready in about 4 years, if he ever gets that far.

ive sat by some really nice and courteous rodent fans And really enjoyed it but ive unfortunately had the misfortune of sitting by skippy tooI have found a fair number of their fan base doesn't have a sense of humor. If you think I am kidding. All you have to do is read the buffoon's twitter account that trying to conduct a parody of Schlossman. I am finding that fans like him are more the norm. Sports are supposed to be fun, but some take it too far. Also, someone on twitter told me that they went to the Wild game last night in a Bruins jersey and a Sioux hat and had a Gopher chirp them the whole game. Non stop. What happened to manners?

Nice...makes the REA pre game look outdated..

The way I look at government in a situation like this is that it is the government's role to provide our country's health care system with the resources to give them a reasonable chance to be successful in this fight. I.E. to not work against our health care professionals.
