I can't believe they would bring in Sedevie. He is not doing that good in the USHL. Maybe they are looking at Ziegelmann. He is 2nd in USHL and 9-3-1-0 and .912 while Lane is (7TH) 7-5-2-2 and .882. Can't imagine they would bring him in with those kinds of stats. Minnesota has been in contact with Kellen Briggs (4TH) of Sioux Falls (9-4-4-0 .909). Last we heard they were thinking of bringing him in early. He has turned down a couple of back East offers, waiting for Minny to call!!! I hope they stick with Brandt. I really enjoyed Ranfranz in net. For being off for nearly 3 years, I thought he did great. "Let's go Ranny!!"

Any word on where Spiewak will skate, if not with Parise and Bochenski??? Will he keep Massen, Noterman, and Lunbohm together?? They played well together, I would hate to break them up so soon. I would like to see Canady back in the lineup. I like his hustle, he just has to slow down and THINK ever so often!!! Let's come away from this weekend with 2 wins.

If you were at St. Cloud this weekend, you saw Massen step up and become the player we all knew he could be. It is get to see how he and Noterman work together. I sure hope they keep them together for awhile. Massens patience for the OT winner was unbelievable. He was on his backhand and waited until the goalie committed and then pulled the puck to his forehand and slammed it in there. He showed great maturity and what a great shot.

I called KFYR and they will not be carrying any of the game this weekend. Said they didn't have to broadcast it because it wasn't regular season and there will be HS football games in the PM and the Sioux Football on Saturday. They seem to look for excuses NOT to put Sioux Hockey on the Radio!! Does anyone know if it will be on the net??? If so give us the www. Thanks.

Nice article to help pump up a defeated goalie. He got beat 7-2! HELLO !!! 4 of the shots were soft to say the least. Hope he has a better season then last year, otherwise I see another goalie on the horizon, who will be brought in early!!!

Does anyone know for sure if those of us who do not live in GF, will be able to listen or watch the games in NY next weekend? We do have a dish. I can"t seem to get a straight answer!!!!!!! I don't know what I would do if I had to miss the first game.

Guess it is official... Sedevie has been traded to Topeka, Kansas. (For future considerations) Not sure if this is good news or not. Lets hope Lamoureux has a great year and comes to UND in '03 and knocks the socks off everyone. Just wondering if Sedevie will report to Topeka?

Here's my 3 cents NOTERMAN SPIEWAK MASSEN When they played together last year, I really liked what I saw. Notes and Spie are always tough, Massen seems to really step it up with the challenge. They can all score. MCMAHON LUNDBOHM HALE Two of the three are tough guys and Lundy can score CANADY PARISE BOCHO This should give Bocho a shot to kick up his game, Canady will clear it out in front of the net, Parise will shoot and Bocho will pick up the garbage. PRPICH FOURNIE PALMO OR FYLLING Palmo had some good games last year, if he worked hard in the off season, maybe. Fournie always works hard, not too sure about Prpich. Fylling will be on the doorstep and ready to take anyones spot.

Latest news is that Sedevie was traded from Sioux Falls to Topeka??? What's with that?? Anyone have any news about this??? Adds a new twist to the signing of Phil!!! He may be too good to leave in Lincoln for 2 years.

I think you are all putting toooo much hope in Fylling. Remember he could barely crack the line up as a freshman, and then he went "back" to juniors and did not do as well as most of our incoming freshmen did when they were in juniors and he had already had a year of college experience!!!! Our sophmores now, cracked the lineup all last season and got a lot of experience at the college level. Connelly, Fylling, Palmo, and Genoway are going to have to work to get in the line up. That group of freshmen have a bad taste and they want to change the way things turned out last year. I look for a " new and improved team" this fall. I can hardly wait.

Anyone know what is up with Sedevie??? Is he going to UND, Sioux Falls,(or are they trading him), or I heard he might go to Canada and play Juniors?? Any info?? I am excited to see how Brandt and Seimbeda come back into camp this fall. Should be a fun year!!!! Will Sofie get much playing time???
