I hope you are right. if that is the case we should be able to pound the rock.

No doubt this will be the toughest match for UND. The Bison have many weapons. Will UND be able to bring pressure on Wentz? Will UND be able to force the Bison into 3rd and long? Will the UND CB's be able to cover? Will UND be able to move the ball on offense? many ? This game could be a blow out or it could come down to FG. We really just don't know. I do know our defense will be better than last year. more depth and experience for sure. Offense should also improve, how much is a big ??. Just happy for the opportunity to play the best and hope we play our best.

This recruits Bubba and staff have brought in are cohesive. this is so important in building a top notch winning team. sooner rather than later.

Returning either the best or 2nd best defense in the league last year. 9 of 11 return starters and picked to be 9th. We do have much to prove that defense wins championships.

UND has much upside in this poll. I wonder if we could get some takers on placing higher than 9th place?

Interesting I thought their single game ticket go on sale in August. I called the ticket office a couple of weeks ago. I plan on 6 or 7 coming from Williston.

I would not like to be Idaho St. coming into the Alerus this season. UND could make Idaho St. offense look ugly.

I agree. Ratelle should have made the 3rd team for sure. I can't believe Wentz didn't make first team. I'm Ratelle was over looked because lack of exposure during playoffs. Not sure how Wentz was missed.

A couple of nights ago, I watched the NAU vs UND from last year that I recorded. The OL was fine on that game. Garman rushed for over 200 yards. Studrud did a fine job at QB Managed to slip thru a blitz near the end of the game to complete a pass that set up the winning FG. No turnovers or botched snaps. The RB did miss a couple of Blitzs that resulted in sacks and stalled drives in the second half. The OL opened holes and set up some nice runs. Studsrud didn't look like a freshman QB with 3 weeks on running the Offense.

Ok. I will go out on a limb. yes UND will be 4-0 in conference play heading to Missoula. 5-2 overall. mostly likely a loss to Montana. Return home and beat MSU and N Colorado. Travel to cal poly as tied for conference leader at 6-1. 7-3 overall. a win secures conference share of title and playoff. a loss and we are on the bubble for a playoff position.

Interesting read about MSU's QB Dakota Prukop and OC Tim Cramsey. Dakota had some pretty good stats last season. But his stats didn't match up against us.
