I check the site yesterday through Roku college sports live. It was excellent. I also noticed the streaming starts at 5:30 so you can catch some pregame info on Stony Brook before the game. I'm so ready. 25 hours.

And in my opinion the coaching staff last year finally realized that they should give Jer carries and not waste his talent. That was the improvement not so much the o line it was the same o line. They just found a back that could actually make people miss not a linebacker or Simmons who was strictly north south. I didn't see where he changed his opinion of coach Knauf. ummmmm

Based on Pres. Kennedy's letter. 1) Athletics is the welcoming door to the university. What better way to welcoming with top notch winning programs. To achieve that you need to command your resources to the sports that will succeed. I think WHY is gone. and allocation to both M&W Basketball and Volleyball receiving resources as well as Track. swimming and diving gone. Probably soccer. 2) They elimination of sports will be determined this fall. Conference changes if so will be later. All based on cost benefit and best opportunities to have the university shine in the region. Pres Kennedy stands ready to offer analytical support and alternative approaches. Conference alignment. I think Pres Kennedy will be in the mold of Clifford maybe even better.

Step 1) Take financial controls away.

I see joining the WAC as I do the MVFC. I saw on the MSU board they are looking to fund raise and upgrade the athletics facilities. The way Kennedy is positioning this committee I would not be surprised to see this move.

A couple of years ago as a member of the champions club. I could watch Women's Hockey for free. So I took my 2 grandkids to the game. We left after the 1st period. It was painfully to watch such a slow game. I said I would never watch let alone pay to watch Women's Hockey again.

I believe Pres Kennedy is bring the accounting closer to him so he doesn't have an surprise in the futures that bite him in the rear. Not sure what sports will be cut. But he wants champion teams not just for participation ribbons. Align the sports to what conference we want to be associated. Are we raising funds comparable to our peers. If not raise some more. I see him as decisive and that is a good thing. He is laying a good foundation for the future of UND athletics.

I really think we will have a much more balanced offense with the WR developing nicely. Also Santiago may have more all purpose yards and less rushing because other RB's will spell him for a rest. This will be a very exciting offense this and expect them to come out of the gate fast.
