Tho0505, by seeing this post I am assuming you don't follow much outside of UND, especially in recruiting. Are you aware that UMD has a huge "in" with Camrose? Matt McKinght, Mason Raymond, McGregor Sharp, Evan Oberg, Mike Conolly, and I think I am missing one more. The fact is UMD has been recruiting from Camrose long before UND knocked on that door so I am sure that we have some pull with their coach. Add that to the fact he has played with Oberg and Conolly plus the recruits we have he can get some play time early.

Wow, reading all these posts you would think paint thinner nation has relocated from Wisconsin to Grand Forks. Duluth is a bad team, blah blah blah, the fighting cultural genocides should walk all over them, blah blah blah. This is D 1 hockey kids and we are in the WCHA. The talent levels aren't that much greater where you should just be able to walk in and beat teams. The Bulldogs are a very good team this year, not anywhere near great, but very above average. They out hustled your team and took the body hard the 1st and 2nd period and got a fluky goal that was somewhat earned by hard work. I keep hearing about your teams weak goals but no one wants to talk about how weak your goals were? Or in your eyes if your team works hard that makes them good goals but the same isn't said about the other team? Your first goal was weak as hell. Our guy fans on a wide open clearing attempt and you get a lay up. Yeah, that was a sniper goal, right? Then your awesome 2nd goal, where a puck is bouncing on ice that looks worse than the surface at the decc and your boy gets lucky enough to be the player that gets wood on the stick. Yep, another great goal. Last time I checked you don't have to be a great team to win games, just ask Michigan state.

There may have been 1 or 2 people calling for his head, but there was never a THREAD started for that exact reason with about 500 replys in it. As for SIouxguyinstpaul, great comeback, almost as good as saying 7 to people after you lose because you can't handle losing like an adult. Do whatever you want. Be the classless fans that we met with the GREAT HOSPITALITY in Grand Forks this year. The only nice people we met were diggler and one other guy. Other than that, we got nothing but threats to be beat up, and one guy got arrested for punching our buddy. Then he was there the next night and we had to have a police officer watching us to make sure the guy didn't do anything. So do what you like, but we have decided as a group that we will show you folks the same hospitality your rich, leather jacket wearing sioux supporters were showing us in Grand Forks. I can't wait to get the kid who tries to run. One punch for every National Title you have. Biggest reason I have grown to like Minnesota fans more: Because they didn't try to JUSTIFY that is is OK to do someone's tradition in their arena. They agreed their fan was an idiot. 7

I really hope your fans have learned not to be stupid enough to disrespect someones tradition by trying to run in our arena. And just so you know, the guy was not getting kicked out for RUNNING the lap. Once again, the cop went over because he was getting blocked by other adults and he was getting close to the Penalty Box. The cop, from what he told me later that night, said "Please sit down, we don't want an incident with the student section." Who at the time was starting to set up a blockade. HE then tried to push the cop out of the way, the cop pointed for him to go back to his seat, and he then punched the cop in the chest. ARRESTED. The cop was not telling him he couldn't run, just please don't do it, they don't want a fight. I am not to worried, I am a very nice fan these days and don't swear and respect the visitors. But here is your warning, this is a big weekend, the Penalty Box will be WASTED, and if you try to run and get near myself and the Box, it will come to fists. I am sick of the disrespect by other fans. I have this weekend and the home playoffs left, I am not worried about being kicked out. So if you value your face, don't run.

Umm, yeah. Maybe a few years ago I did that stuff, but I don't curse people in the visiting uniform unless they absolutly do something childish to offend me. I was not one of those jerks that were getting on the gopher fans. And UND fans are ones to talk, someone tried to fight us BOTH nights at the Ralph, same guy, and then everyone at the Bars wanted to fight us, we just kept saying "It is just a game,." First of all spanky, get your games right. When tUMD lost 6-3, Johnson played the enitre game. That was Saturday. When Isaac got pulled Friday night, after giving up 3 goals, tUMD came back to tie it up at the end of the first, it was 3-3. They lost 5-4. Research before you post. 7

Our bad that we don't have a millionaire that was a life long backup goalie like Doug Peterson is for the packers to pay for all this stuff and get his number retired. The guy was a backup in the 50's, all you had to do was stand on skates to be a backup in the 50's. I have a great idea, I will become a millionaire someday, build crap for tUMD, and have them retire a number I never wore, but make them retire it because I was a huge fan. Maybe we can even make up a story that I would have been a great bulldog someday but blew out both my knees saving Junior from drowning or something like that. Yes, it is not a MINNESOTA venture, but the buildings main purpose is for the hockey teams, and in the summer they can do what they like with it. Good for them. But the state should pay for the Vikings and Twins which is in the Twin cities. This is our "big" sports team, and if the citites is going to get money, so should we. And the Main U gets all kinds of state dollars, there is no reason why they should not help out with ours.

Each one of us got offered to fight someone at least a half dozen times. The talking is fun, and we all said to these people, CAN WE GO DRINK AND HAVE A GOOD TIME NOW.
