Well Iowa is in the ACHA Division 2, and it looks like the school would have to build an area for the team. Iowa State is in the ACHA Division 1. Iowa State has an arena that they can play in, the Hilton Coliseum. The Hilton Coliseum is the home of Iowa State's basketball teams, but it can also has ice making ability. The Hilton Coliseum seats 14,356 and could be too big in the long run for the hockey team, but at least they wouldn't need to build a brand new arena right away. A team that could come to the NCHC with Iowa State is the University of Cincinnati. It's close to Miami (OH) the Bearcats play in a 10,000 seat arena The Cincinnati Gardens.

There is 5 USHL teams in Iowa, I think Iowa State would go D1 before Iowa would.

This year their about even, Max Coatta for Penticton in 10 games (7-5-12) 2 powerplay goals. Jake Larson for Brooks Bandits in 10 games (4-10-14) 2 powerplay goals. Jake Larson played his senior year of high school in the SIJHL for the Minnesota Wilderness (now in the NAHL). For the Wilderness Larson, in 49 games went (44-28-72).

This is the second time this month the Braves had a confertation after and opposing team hits a home run. The reason to me that Freeman was ejected, because he was the first player other McCann to confront Gomez at home plate. I thought McCann should have been ejected with Freeman, Laird, and Gomez. When the Marlins rookie pitcher Fernandaz hit his first homerun on September 11 he watched it. Then he gets to home plate and the benches clear when McCann starts talking to Fernandaz. The Braves third baseman thew a !@#$ fit when Fernandez spit on the ground near third base.

If I'm not mistaken Michigan and Michigan State are rivals of The Ohio State University in other, more followed sports then hockey.

North Dakota, Nebraska-Omaha, Colorado College, Minnesota-Duluth, Denver, and St. Cloud State have better attendance numbers then Ohio State.

At the moment he's not on langley's roster. Langley plays on Firday and Saturday, maybe he'll be on the roster by then.

Jake Larson from St. Michael MN, is tied for points in the AJHL. He plays for the Brooks Bandits (3-8-11) in 4 games. Penticton has a defenseman thats 6'6" from Plymouth MI, Blake Butzow. He hasn't played any games yet. I'd like to see Penticton goalie Hunter Miska commit to a college team.

I'll say that Winsonsin who happen to host the Hall of Fame Game that year decided to do something different and play it outdoors. If Ohio State is such a name brand in hockey why wasn't it televised nationally? The reason Michigan played Ohio State in an outdoor game is because they are rivals in football and basketball. Now getting the casual Ohio State fan to watch the game against Minnesota may not be as high as some think, due to the Ohio State at Minnesota basketball game is on the night before on ESPN 2.

Was the Wisconsin vs. Ohio State game even televised? The big question is, who would you rather see Minnesota play outdoors Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin or would you rather see Minnesota play UND? Wisconsin would at least bring fans to help fill TCF Bank Stadium as would UND. I think that Minnesota wants to play a team that they can beat instead of a team that can beat them. It would be embarrassing to lose this outdoor game to Ohio State.

True, but the guy played football for Maryland. I'm not against Maryland starting a hockey program, I just don't see it happening anytime soon. With the Pinnacle Back Arena Nebraska, to me, looks to be the closest B1G school to add hockey.

Does Under Armor make anything other than jerseys for Boston College, that would be a no. Until Under Armor starts making gloves, shoulder pads, shin pads, sticks, etc. I don't see the CEO of Under Armor funding Maryland to start a hockey team.

I'd say once Stecher commited Senkbeil was told he wouldn't be coming back. Hakstol being the nice guy he is found a place for him to transfer to. In all honesty Senkbeil was a last minute replacement for a decommitment and if it wasn't for all the injuries his freshman year he probably wouldn't have played.

He was replaced, there are the same number of guys on the team this year as last year. He was replaced by one of the incoming defenseman.

Since Grand Forks AFB has Global Hawk drones good chance they will be a testing site, which would help keep Grand Forks AFB open. Most likely Alaska would be the main testing area for extreme winter testing on drones. After looking at the map of areas that are being looked at for drone testing locations. Good chance NAS Pax River could be one, because that is where the X-47B is being tested by the Navy.
