Lots of games tonight. What’s with that?

Und drops a match to SDSU at home. I believe conference record is now 3-8.
-
But I was being totally serious about the roster opening up.

There's only a few out there, so don't feel too bad. Most of us pale in comparison.

The cool part about now is that the full roster can be utilized without reservations. Might even have a Jerry sighting now, which I know will bring so much joy to any true fan of UND football.

Listening to the 360 pod
Funniest part of the 'cast was when Kelly said "some of the biggest idiots on earth exist on that board!" The fun part is thinking everyone who disagrees with you is the "idiot", regardless of who you are.

Can't just win this. Need a complete blowout. Score fast and score often.
Yes. Needs to be Drake and WIU style.

I know this won’t be a popular take, but I’m just trying to think about this logically. There’s been a lot of disgust at starting Tommy for the 3rd quarter. Keep in mind, this analysis only works when considering what we knew at halftime, not anything in the second half. At halftime, UND was only down 17, well within the reach of making a comeback, so long as some things go your way. UND was going to start with the ball. Score on that drive. Get a stop. Force a turnover. Who would have the best chances to lead a comeback - a 4 year starter or a backup who has only played a few reps? I’m not ragging on the backups, I’m just asking what evidence is available to think they would’ve been the best candidate to lead a comeback? I know Tommy had a bad half, but that doesn’t mean the second half will go the same way. Putting a new guy in there at that point says, to me, that we are not expecting to win.
I’ll hang up and listen.

"Indiana State is up next at home. Let’s enjoy the season and look forward to the playoffs. This team is representing UND, Grand Forks, and it’s alumni very well and I am proud of them."
Was this something that Kelly tweeted?

Not this time. He said focus on the mistakes and learn from them.
Better than burning the tape. That one really rubbed me the wrong way last time he said it.

No one has yet earned the starting job for game one next fall.
This is my point of view as well. Even if Tommy does stay on the team next year, that doesn't mean he earns the starting job. It will probably be the most interesting story line of UND football in 2024.

Haven't seen the write-up on the 360 website yet.

last week means zero.
Not to me. Beating ndsu was a huge sigh of relief. I was thinking we’d have to wait another 2 years for that to happen.
but it appears that it was a fluke, and perhaps not the program changing win we were hoping it to be.
I think we need a “players only” meeting of our own.

Didn’t get lucky, just happened to be the worst bison team since 2009 and maybe the worst one since they went D1.
And weren’t we lucky that they have fallen back to reality??!!

Too bad we didn’t have a cupcake the week following the Bison to help get through the hangover.
-
Regardless of season outcome, I’ve been hoping Bubba would retire. Now with the NDSU win, he’s done enough for him to ride happily in the sunset.
turn the page for ‘24.

Amazing how one fumble can rattle the entire team.

I changed into the outfit I was wearing last week. Hopefully that helps!!

That needed to be the speech prior to the start.
I thought Herb gave it before the third period of the Sweden game.

Hopefully the halftime speech is something analogous to Herb Brooks’ “if you lose this game…”
-
Score here and score after halftime and we got a game.

Need a big time reset. Shame shame shame…
