  1. Nice thanks. I figured it would be.
  2. Is that Manitoba game going to be televised (in the Cities)?
  3. GFG salad dressing maybe???
  4. Agreed. They got caught, believe me all underage Sioux players drink (well except Rocco, I honestly believe he doesn't).
  5. They played together for a shot while last year as well. However, they had chemistry in Junior A, which is a lot different than college. I still like the chemistry of Rowney, Parks and Macmillan over what he had in juniors. Just saying.
  6. Half the NHL is 19, that excuse is rapidly dwindling as more and more guys are graduating early to play college. I think Bjugstad did too. However, I think Dillon has 30+ point this year. I do agree with some of you, that I too had high expectation for him. Either way I see him having a great year this year.
  7. I've see Patrick play...he is really talented.
  8. Sure...I watched many Edina games this year. They do have a lot of young kids, but needless to say I never noticed this kid once and UND doesn't need to go after some kid who may turn out to be almost average. They need to put their work into Conner Hurley.
  9. A lot. It would take a long time to name all of them. I had 4 on my team alone.
  10. Which incident was that again? Actually now that I'm thinking about it...more Sioux players, in the last 5-7 years, have gotten into trouble than I can remember any other group getting into.
  11. A couple (recently) have played for Air Force and Harvard. Jared Bye almost walked on to UND and Danny Wurden was close to playing D1.
  12. Haha, my cousin played under Hak and I can guarantee they partied pretty hard. Not out and about but they are pretty hardcore....just smart about it. And yes, most of them act like typical rock stars....especially the Canadian ones. But oh well...as long as their good. I would definitely leave out the sexual assault though. Also, I was at the Down Under a few years back (I believe that's what it's called) and Oshie was having amateur strip night there on some tables. All out of fun though. They are young...and will party hard like a lot of us do/did.
  13. 100% agreed....move the little guy to wing to start the season; see how he adjusts. I guarentee that line won't have to play a ton of D. If it doesn't work you simply shuffle some lines up.
  14. He did, but look at who he was playing with. Also, our first two lines were jacked. As far as your lineup goes, you simply shifted your order....that Rowney line is still the second line in terms of talent. You guys are all right, I think the fact we have such a hard time nailing down some great line combos is due to the outstanding depth this year. I sure hope this is the year. I was teased young in life as the first two national championships I was able to go to (96 or 97 and 2001) we won. Since then I have traveled many miles only to suffer terrible losses. This has to be the year, it's been too long.
  15. Haha
  16. Agreed, those stats are terrible.
  17. Yeah....he was a top 6 forward last year at this time....even with his bum knee.
  18. You have Grimaldi on the 4th line?!?
  19. Yeah but it's fun...u just like to disagree with certain people no matter what they post.
  20. Exactly.
  21. I wasn't saying switch Rocco to wing solely because he is small and it would help his development immediately (however that may end up happening someday), I was speaking to the people who left him off the top line simply because they felt he is a "true" center and shouldn't play wing. I was speaking to those people that it wouldn't be farfetched to see him switch to wing to get his "first line offensive skill" on the first line. I was only saying that he belongs on the first line and I would like to see the Mac-Rowney-Parks line stick together, at least to start the season. He has more offensive skill than anyone else on the team (when healthly), hands down. That's why the Panthers drafted a 5'6'' 150 lb kid first pick in the 2nd round.
  22. Actually he is....because his program is known for developing high quality NHL players...that is the sole attraction (besides the Ralph) of coming to UND for most players. But you kind of noted that in the second part of your post.
  23. Yes....obviosuly. I was talking about potential line-ups and why I think Grimaldi should play wing (this year), because our team is stacked but we need his skill set in the top 6.
  24. I really like this lineup....except St. Clair will move up to a third liner at some point during the season.
