  1. Some of you guys don't get it. A coach doesn't recruit for those "4 year players" he recruits for talent. Yes, the unions and yales have had recent success but a lot of it was luck. When 57 other teams pass on a kid there is a reason for it. In Haks defense, you don't just turn a blind eye to talent, he is competing against the gophers and Eagles and the chl for the best young kids in the country. Those "4 year players" are the result of everyone else passing on them and a lot of luck. That's why those teams typically are hot and cold every other year. However, hak has had a lot of talent and even our "4 year players" could have played almost anywhere else, so he needs to get one relatively soon.
  2. I'm probably as frustrated as anyone and have also been critical of Hak, however, it's way too early to start complaining. Save it for the offseason. "Hak team's" have their flaws however they have also been a pretty decent product as well. A guy deserves time to win a natty and I'm guessing his clock is ticking. This topic should be an offseason topic though, not after the first weekend of the year.
  3. This thread needs to die.
  4. Stetcher is a fluid skater and shows flashes of offense (from the point) however even in the short time my feed worked last night I saw him make several mistakes on the PP. The reason I was solely focused on him is because I wanted to gain some sort of understanding as to why Keaton sits over him. The other D man some people on here thought would be a rotational player was Ausmus however he has been noticeable in a good way.
  5. A tad harsh and direct but your statement isn't completely false. They can play better than they have so far however.
  6. I thought Poolman looked decent. His size was noticeable. He needs to be in the lineup. I didn't notice Olson much at all but I did notice his line. My feed was spotty at best so I can't speak much to their play. From what I have heard the goal would be to get all the freshman forwards in the lineup by the end of the season. They need to push some of the older players.
  7. I definitely like St. Clair in the lineup. I actually liked that line he was playing on. Get Pogs and Keaton back in the lineup and we're golden.
  8. Yeah....but that's JV football.
  9. boys are still going through the motions....they need to step it up soon or we'll tie.
  10. Me too. They better be refunding. Grainy is one thing....not working at all is another.
  11. Not for me.
  12. I also asked for $ back. Mine is still constantly buffering and color bars.
  13. is this bemidji stream bad for everyone or is it just on my end?
  14. Did Thompson look bad last night? I watched the entire game and everyone looked bad but was he bad enough that he needed to be sat? Gaarder, Parks, O'Donnell, Mattson played extremely poorly. They are in....but I guess they are seniors. Stetcher didn't pay well whatsoever, why does he play over Thompson?
  15. Well said. This team never lacks talent but the lack of effort in some games is frustrating. They should know a small school full of Johnny try-hards are going to come into that rink buzzing. Embarrassing, but tonight's a new night. Guys need to play. So far I have been pretty disappointed with parks and Mac combo, they are getting dominated by players that are no where near the same pedigree.
  16. Parks line is playing very poorly tonight. About as bad as I've ever seen.
  17. I think I've seen one und scoring chance all night.
  18. Boys don't look too good. I think they need to start moving their feet.
  19. Shocked.
  20. I actually thought Sanderson showed some skill last weekend.
  21. In my opinion, stretcher. Move Keaton up to the first or second unit.
  22. Blown away poolman isn't playing.
  23. Nice, thanks. I'll probably pick up the webcast then.
  24. Will Saturday's game (in Bemidji) we broadcasted via NCHC.tv?
