As I've stated previously, I skated with some guys who knew his cousin (mentor) quite well and it was known that he did not want to play here in the Cities. Obviously you have to take that with a grain of salt as he is only a young kid and he has already decommited once. I remember that age, your mind can flip every other day. I think we have a good shot at him, if indeed the rumors are true that we are in the running. If he were going Minny, you think he would have said so by now. He's always here and he plays on a line with those guys....why take so long? As far as Matthews, he's another guy who I think will stay state-side. He's seeing what Eichel is doing and it won't hurt Eichel's draft stock. I do think he'll end up at BC or BU though. Imagine if, for whatever reason, Eichel doesn't leave? Those two would dominate. However, he could being interested in playing with Schmaltz. Elite goal scorers like to play with elite playmakers.

10am this morning I think. I was looking through the roster, they are going to have to make some tough cuts. I believe they need to cut 5-7 forwards. I can count 3-4 that are probably going to get cut but I have no clue on the others. If Schmaltz is cut I'm calling shenanigans. I'm still mad about J. Schmaltz getting gut during the preliminaries several years back (to make matter worse it was Lucia who cut him).

Me too. Could improve his skating but seems to let it rip a bunch. Looks solid. Gersich looks good too. Fast.

I also noticed he always goes top shelf. It is fine once in awhile however if he keeps that point shot to between 4"- 8" there would be more oppurtunities for rebounds. However, Tucker has been pretty darn good so far.

Simonson and I believe Johnson has been winning tons of draws as well. I thought, as a team, we have been a good faceoff team. Anyone have any stats?

Not every team rolls only one tendy. Their backup actually had a good junior career so he was probably promised some PT. Also they won Friday so giving him Saturday wasn't the worst decision. Additionally, he looked like a solid tendy.

Matthews is a lock for the u20s. I agree, hopefully he is paired with Schmaltz.

Good win. The effort in the third was terrible though. Three points.
