  1. Agree with a lot of what u posted. I also think yon should play. Not sure where though.
  2. Definitely agree on the release part....needs to get quicker. its been pretty cool offensively lately
  3. Brock's trying to do too much and jost isn't getting involved. Jost needs to lead his own line. Split them up at even strength
  4. I haven't seen two breakaways in 30 seconds since pee wees
  5. Who was in this kids corner? Curious to know who his advisor was.
  6. They won't have the high end offensive ability though. Won't skate as well either.
  7. Not if all the shots are from the perimeter and he's getting great looks......your second sentence. Guys this isn't a witch hunt against Cam nor do I think he should sit. I can think of one really bad goal all year (1st shorty against Duluth). Other posters were throwing Cam under the bus regarding the first goal Saturday night and I was there sticking up for him (because it was a point blank shot). My point was that the guy hasnt been tested all that much because our D last year was generational. I can think of maybe one college team (Goofs in 2002 or 2003) that had a more loaded college D core. When your D is that loaded goalies just dont get tested often...that's a fact.
  8. And my point was that he achieved the 93.5%, in large part, because of those dmen. It's not a knock on him.
  9. I never said he wasn't a good goalie....however a 93.5% isnt just good, it's great. It's great because of the fact he is a good goalie and had a jacked up D core.
  10. I like Cam....but to be honest a TON of what went into his godly numbers had to do with our jacked up D core last year. Wolanin was rotating in last year.....that's pretty crazy because he's very good. I honestly think we sweep this week (if we have a full lineup).
  11. This doesnt really fall into that category to me. Typically players want to continue to develop and go to the A to take that next step.....or players have already graduated (L Johnson). Not sure if Thompson graduated yet however leaving UND early to go to the E is super confusing. If a player cant crack the A out of college he shouldnt be leaving early. There's obviously more to work on.
  12. Is K Thompson really playing in the E? I think I saw that on Twitter. So confused why he left early.
  13. On Saturday? On Friday I saw tons of mistakes, especially by our upper upper classman (not talking about T Poolman).
  14. Fix that pk (however a lot had to do with how good MN's PP is), fix the PP, and play as hard as they did in Saturday and we'll get the sweep. I was really impressed with the freshman D last Saturday. They all played well.
  15. Haha look who's back. At this rate boeser will be back next year. If I was to critique him I would say he needs to work a ton (that's an understatement) on his dzone effort and he really must add a one timer to play in the show. It takes him to long to get that shot off. He accounted for a large % of those blocked shots and at the next level it will be exponentially harder to get his shot off. Great player but has stuff to work on.
  16. Thought we played pretty dang good last night, just couldn't catch a break. I also thought our young dmen played great and ausmus looked a lot better too. Tough break on that first goal, defensive breakdown and left cam out to dry. I missed the second goal. Although this wasn't cams fault and he deserves to start next week (obviously), i really wish berry would have given Tomek multiple starts earlier in the year. He and cam should have split the Manitoba game 50/50 and matej should have played at least one of those games against canisias/RPI.
  17. Agree to disagree, total defensive breakdown (again) with a shot from the top of the crease....those go in a lot. they just showed the replay.
  18. Yon skates well and Wilkie needs to play. The only way he's going to get better is by playing.
  19. Kind of scared with our lineup tonight. Speed was an issue last night and our lineup is slower tonight than last night. Wilkie didn't look good last night but he should be in there...yon too.
  20. The gophs are built for the big ice....they are also built to play early in the season when the refs blow the whistle every two minutes. As the season progresses the refs swallow their whistles more and the gophs typically come back to earth. The gophs are a very good team that underwhelms a lot. Not last night though. They looked good. I think ausmus is hurt.
  21. Last night was pretty disappointing giving up all those leads and getting destroyed in puck possession. But on the flip side they didn't lose. They really need to figure out their special teams play in the worst way. 5 on 5 their fine.
