I still remember last year in the NCAAs the player's kept "accidentally" saying Sioux and smiling about it, so awesome.

I like NS and Drake together...and I think Chyzyk fits on that line. Have to find a consistent wing to play w Mac and Parks. Would love to see OD seize that spot but he looked out of place there Friday and much more comfortable on the 4th line Saturday but maybe against Niagara he gets another shot.
How about trying Simonson with Mac and Parks. Seems like he works his ass off every time he's out there or try Chyzyk and put Simonson with Caggiula and N. Schmaltz

UMD was 0-3 on the power play. You didn't lose because they gave UMD a phantom call
Thats not the point. The refs shouldnt be calling that at all, but if your team needs to lower themselves to diving to try to win a game then more power to them and for ruining the game of college hockey, just sad!

Snake's comment (post #160) nailed it. I think we sorely lack high-end offensive talent anymore compared to what we had 3-4 years ago and all the way back much longer. Our high end offensive talent are Cags and Parks and I think at best on the 2010-11 team Or most teams in the 2000's so far) they would have been 2nd line, same with McWilliams (3rd line?). We have great goal tender and a skilled def corps but offensively we are middle of the pack at best in the NCHC. Duluth's puck possession and movement clearly superior to ours tonight and I ain't very optimistic it gets much better for the Sioux Sat night. It needs to, along with a little better puck luck, to have a shot at winning. The Shep ref, I swear he has it in for UND/it's personal for him.

We park west of the Betty for 10 per night, getting there hour before gametime and have usually got to park in the close spots. Bit of a walk, don't be too early or you have to walk around to the front of the building.
Or you could park by the university park and pay nothing, cant be that much longer of a walk

Love that game. Used to make my own Red Wings lineup based on phony Russian names like Boris Badinov, Chuck Checkov, and Sergei Slapshotov...just killed the league leader board in goals and assists.
Back on topic, yes, the US gave up 41 shots, but that's an absolute huge goal that should not have counted. It's not like folks are complaining of a slash or nasty cross-check that happened away from the play.
Its a goal that decided an important game and its just going to be tucked away somewhere and never talked about again. But the refs will be sure to blow the whistle anytime an opposing player playing canada gets in the blue paint

So what are the rules for goalie interfarence, anyone? I just thought you couldnt be in the blue paint sense the ref stopped the play when the US player was in it and the canads player clearly touched Demko, can any one explain this? Goon?

It was just irritating listening to the announcers saying you cant be in that blue paint and interfear with the goalie, when that is exactly how the canads just scored

The US player is in the blue paint not even touching the goalie, and the Canadian guys pretty much hugging the American goalie but that was a good goal:/ F#%#@#%( canadien shephards haha
