Definitely not as good as last season, but close. We are really missing our top 2 D Vaisanen and Crusberg-Roseen. Our young guys have stepped up but it's tough to replace two top guys like that.

I just think where Fersch is at this point in his career, he'd gladly take an almost sure lifetime position in a town he loves with a brand new facility over the pressure that would come with being the HC at Minnesota. I could be wrong, but if he were 15 years younger i'd be more worried.

There's no way WMU woudl let ferschweiler go to another college school. They would pay whatever it took to keep him. Also, why go to minnesota when you can continue to coach your alma mater in a better conference with better facilities?

This game is bonkers.

He's been out since december and has only played like 4 games. Got hurt in practice by a skate, I guess he had a very deep cut on some fluke thing, they were saying he had ligaments showing. Good to see him back healthy again.

One day i'll get out there to see it. I hear good things.

Needed a depth D guy with CCR and Joona out for the rest of the year.

I'm hearing he's not out for the year, just a while. Not sure exactly what that means, but losing him and Joona is a big blow.
