It will be interesting to see if the gophers continue to stay hot once they have to play on the road. They have been the benefactors of a long home stretch. I still think they are peaking to early.

I watched him play last night against White Bear Lake. He looked to have good awareness and speed. I would assume if he is going the college route he would be looking at UMD, perhaps UND and others I am sure.

I think we just landed a recruit named Rhett Gardner. More to come I am sure.

To each is own I guess. I would take UND Gophers over pretty much anything. I understand geographically people would think in more regional terms. i.e. I am from North Carolina I am assuming they would think UNC vs Duke as being the greatest and not some hockey teams up north.

The gophers have quite a long stretch of games at home. UAH and BC for the Mooch classic, Notre Dame for a game and then UAA for the weekend series and next up is UND. Must be tough to never leave your back yard. They will have to go on the road sooner or later.

Brad also reported that Caggiula looked fine during warmups. So that is good news.

I wonder if they dressed him if Drake didn't feel good during warm ups.

I am asking all Sioux fans to please vote Corban Knight for Hobey Baker award. All I know is I will really miss going to the Final Five in the WCHA as it sits right now. I don't go every year but I go as many times as my family and the pocket book will allow. I found the X and the atmosphere to be excellent. Whatever happens I guess happens and I will follow UND Hockey any where but I certainly will take it all in one last time this year and enjoy what is the best tournament in college hockey.

No question the gophers are good this year but I guess we will see how it unfolds. I have my opinions on the matter and I am guessing they don't match yours so I will keep them to myself.

Its tough to beat the gophers at home but I am looking to see how they do when they have to travel on the road and play the meater part of the schedule. If I have looked at their schedule correctly the gophers shouldn't have to take a plane to any of their series the remainder of the regular season. Plus they had the benefit of playing the number 1 and 3 teams in the country at home and only for 1 game series.

The #1 ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers should make easy work of Notre Dame tonight. I am thinking like 6-0 and Bjugstad a hatty.

Has anyone heard if they plan to give the rest of the season for free on Center Ice? That would be awesome.

I am not a huge BB follower but I am a huge UND fan. Do you guys who are knowledgable BB fans think we are recruiting the wrong type of kids? Perhaps character wise anyways? I realize some of our problems are due to injury but to have a junior transfer who can't even pass a semester is pretty bad. Thoughts?

Looks like BC lost a player last weekend for 3 months due to injury. Patch Alber out 3 months after tearing knee and get this he hurt it playing soccer prior to the UAH game last weekend at the Mooch classic.
