I agree the defense does him no favors. I do agree he could play better though.

Frisch very soft on that play allowing Clown to walk right in and then Driscoll comes out of the net and goes down and clown roofs it right over him.

It will be interesting, as I am convinced, anyone really with some admin experience would have done a decent job running the NCHC given the institutions that make up the conference. They alone make it successful. Josh has done a good job steering the ship. I do believe there is room for improvement however. just thinking off the top of my head, others can add. 1. Better streaming across the board-requiring a standard from schools. 2. Better television deal. CBS is alright but I think it could be better 3. Moving the frozen Faceoff back to the Xcel was the right move. Glad that happened. Although, I kind of liked it in GF, ala last year. 4. Possibly adding more teams? 5. Refs- This will probably always be an issue. What do others think? Any replacement names come to mind? My dark horse would be Erik Martinson.

I agree, competition doesn’t hurt. We need to get at least one of our other goalies some playing time. Driscoll is here only for one year

I really don’t know what to make of this team. We lose at home to BSU- Fair enough We go to Nashville and get throttled by Penn State. We lose Friday game to UMD and don’t play well with dumb penalties. Squeaking out a Sat victory. We lose Friday game to UMN and look crappy. We barely hang on to win Saturday. We get throttled again on Friday by Clown town. Saturday TBD. Our PP and PK are both very poor we take very dumb and costly penalties. Our defense has been anything but stellar and our forwards tend to get caught watching as opposed to playing. Every time we win a game it seems people think we are back on track but even our wins aren’t real convincing. The season goes fast and before you know it there is just too much ground lost to control our destiny. I hope that doesn’t happen this year.

You can tell we don’t have any high end scorers outside of Gaber. It’s pretty clear to see. Our defense should be good but they are just all discombobulated.

I’ll tell you what though there is no way any team in the NCHC should be out recruiting us. That is cause for concern.

Understood we lost a lot of players from last year but we clearly don’t have the talent at this point. It is really disappointing. Outside of a couple players we just don’t have the firepower.

Wow, the intermission interview was brutal. Camera was out of focus and the volume was non-existent.

Who does our PP again? Is that KG or Jackson?

I would be curious if Driscoll’s save percentage is one of the lowest for UND in a while. Pretty brutal.

So true, they have really done nothing to improve that whole location over there. Restaurants are so underwhelming, it could be a real nice location if you can get someone in there that puts in the time and effort.
