  2. 12065 yep, 91w Do an Auto scan (blind Scan) or enter (or edit) a new transponder.
  3. 55-60% here : ( Stable picture, but it's not me I am concerned about : (
  4. 64 or 65 will not make much differance, but your right well worth a fiddle where every signal point counts. Every LNB is off just a little so tinkering with the freq. can help. I am sure the pros at the Ralph will get it sorted out, by next week they will have seen my video and heard from honest members of this forum like yourself who have had no problems for years using the same satellite setup.
  5. Freq. 12065 Pol. V SR. 4870
  6. No : (
  7. Sorry no, drop me an e-mail and I can get you one for COST price ; ) A universal remote may work, but much more costly! GO SIOUX!
  8. Here is a video I JUST made of the issue......... No amout of "Peaking" helped : (
  9. Here is a good strong transponder on 91w for everone to get back on satellite 12055 V 13350 Black and white test screen 75% signal Quality here!
  10. Signal quality is very weak : ( I am at 55-603% now with break ups : ( All other channels on this satellite are at usual strength so the Sioux feed is weak....... Or a similar transponder on an adjacent satellite is pulling at our signal, that's why when a few nudged their dish they got slightly better signal. Your satellite system is only as good as the signals being broadcast : ( Garbage in..............Garbage out I hope the satellite guy at the Ralph reads this : ) Please clean the leaves off the up-link dish. We usually have signals with the first few games, then they sort things out........ fingers crossed!
  11. Glad to hear you got it Jake, not sure why we had to nudge to get it? My thought is another similar transponder on an adjacent satellite was bending and pulling at our transponder!!!!
  12. Anyone having any trouble with this transponder? I had to nudge to the west a tad for MAX sigbal Quality? With any luck this will not be the transponder they use for hockey : )
  13. I cheated and just blind scanned it in, let the receiver do the work : )
  14. The first Sioux on Satellite signal of the season is up right now at 91ºw Freq. 12108 Pol. V SR. 4870 Signal Quality is at 72% : ) Traxis DBS 3500 / Winegard 30" / Spitfire Universal LNBF
  15. You are WELCOME Jake, it was a pleasure working with you! GO SIOUX!
  16. So you still have DirecTV, Dish Network and Shaw (+FTA....) ? Man your COVERED, any chance of a fibre link to your place
  17. Noticed that and thought the same thing........... thought if I did not mention it, it would go away : ) Lets all hope it does not cause us any problems.
  18. Thanks for taking note Jim and the excellent forum.
  19. Thanks Sioux2007 for your opinion ; ) Another plus with the full bandwidth used on FTA satellite is seeing the actual puck............ hockey is such a fast game that with DirecTV's compressed, blotchy, pixalized picture it's hard to spot the puck. Of course with Sioux games the puck is usually easy to find as its usually in the opponents net : )
  20. MUCH better picture on Free to Air satellite : ) Especially if you do what Sprig just did, he got himself a TRAXIS DBS 4000 and he uses the HDMi output direct to his Big screen TV ALMOST HD Quality Free to air satellite is First generation, DirecTV's picture is 2nd or 3rd generation and then squished to fit in with another 50 digital channels on the same transponder! For Free to Air a full transponder is used for the broadcast, result is a MUCH better picture.
  21. Good idea, there are MANY unscrupulous dealers and forums out there that just want to sell satellite systems, they could not care less if the programming you got the system for remains free to Air or not. I ALWAYS advise Sioux fans to wait for the Schedule to be announced JUST to be on the safe side ; ) You can't go wrong if you listen to Sprig! GO SIOUX
  22. Sioux Satellite users! Over at www.SatellitePlus.US we are giving away two Spitfire Elite 0.1dB Universal LNB's all you have to do is tell us "What was the First Satellite you ever used or seen" For Example most Sioux Fans use " Galaxy 17 at 91 deg. West " One LNB will be given away tomorrow (Hence this post) and another on the 30th of November. You only have to enter once to get two chances to win. Shipping is Free in the lower 48 states. This super low noise LNB really helps with low signals, it's just like instantly having a bigger dish! And it's ALWAYS a good idea to have a spare LNBF http://visionplus.us/smf/index.php?topic=6436.0 As USUAL GO SIOUX
