If at all possible why not get a motorized system then not only will you get the Sioux home games, but you may also get a few away games, I did this season. And there are hundreds of other feeds/channels of interest up there too, drop me a line if you get stuck on the install and I will help if I can, happy satellite hunting! Go Sioux!

MMMMMmmmm Beer....MMMMMmmmmm Sioux! MMMMMmmmmmm Satellite Iceberg! I know where a C -band dish is lying if you are up for it? And have a BIG van, I get offered a lot of these systems when I change folks over to DVB or DBS systems, now that spring has sprung I am going to take someone up on their offer of a C-band system, and have it ready for next season. I have also heard Red Roof Inns are giving away their C-band systems to anyone wanting to dismantle them and take them away!

Go Sioux! .PP.

Iceberg, No analog yet, I have seen a few out there but I have not jumped for one yet, I am still new to e-bay so I am sure I will win a bid soon, I have not been trying to bid as I only had dial up, but now I have DSL, so I just need to find an analog box, I know you are at the game right now, hope you had fun. Remember its only a game....Yea Right : )
-
Rats, I still dont have an analog box yet! The coordinates for the satellite feed are below..... G11 Tp. 16 Freq. 12020 Pol. V Again the above link states it will be an analog feed, so the digital systems will NOT pick up this feed/game unless the broadcast it in digital format : ( But this transponder is allways analog, so it dont look good.

People with a ku band satellite system might want to try a re scan on the G3C, satellite, as the game is on, but seems to have moved tonight! Thanks to Steve and Diana, I wear it with pride.Go Sioux! FREQ. 11990 s/r. 04880 pol. H

I am new to hockey so I am not the best one to ask, but I have seen Wisconson, USt Cloud, UMD games Sioux away game.....more or less its the games that they show in other areas. Its pot luck what you get on FTA satellite, but after a few weeks you start to see that some programs that are there at the same time every week, but in this hobby there is nothing set in stone, you get what you get. Other than sport I have see every day..... live news feeds/live medical operations/last week we had 7-8 hrs of F1 motor racing, I also like to watch local channels from other parts of the country. I you go to my web site and click on the link to FTA channels it lists all the channels that one could pick up for free in the US, not all these channels are KU band but 70% are. So its really is a hobby rather than a TV service, but there are loads of channels that are there 24/7 like NASA, music channels too many to list.....the most recent find I have come across is Cubavision. Then a few weeks ago I found LIVE cricket from India, its still underway, that must go down as my best find so far all the experts had not come across it until I found it : ) The main thing is the Sioux games!

We dont really get that much other than the Sioux home games and a few Chinese channels on this satellite (G3C) but I and others have a motor mounted on the dish mast, this lets us move our dish to other satellites, I have seen loads of hockey games this year on other satelltes, there is also Empire Sports games, and all sorts of free channels. Its a lot of fun, good luck.

Chipotle's Guacamole is worth the trip alone, I would love to know the name of the small mom and pop pizza place......mmmmmm pizza!
-
Nice find Iceberg! Its worth doing a scan every now and then, I have seen hockey games and stuff from time to time on this satellite (G3C).
-
Right, as long as its on Ku band and uncoded, but remember they can throw the switch at any time and encript! I have also been lucky enough to pick up the odd Sioux away game this season and I can usually get another game at the same time, if not two. Thats the thing about FTA satellite you take what you get, but its got to be motorized dish (and receiver) so you can switch between satellites from inside. You can move the dish by hand, but if you mess it up it will cost to have someone repoint your dish, after you put a motor on you should never need anyone to move your dish again. If you are into sports at all and dont want to pay for a sports package FTA Ku band is an option, plenty of hockey at this time of year, and Empire Sports is in the clear, above all the FSSN, and of course last Saturdays game : )
-
I wonder what was said at the time out? Its like a new team!
-
Cool! Yes, it just depends on the receiver, but the way to get it might be to put in the above coordinates then slowly move the dish left and right, the dish should be pointing about 10deg. to the east off of true south, or to the left of true south from behind the dish, its got to be digital ku band. Hope this helps.

Any luck?

Same here..............GO SIOUX!
-
Got it 11791 03984 V If you cant get it do a transponder search!
-
I seen that still searching here.
-
Now its GONE! It was just a warm up feed, seems they have some new players from Japan, its back on again now! Gone again!
-
Whoops its Vertical and Horizontal, I am glad I dont do this for a living....try this 11824 06625 V
-
try + - 10 on the S/R, I am scanning again but it popped up last time round, may be off by now.
-
Dodgers baseball feed just popped up on AMC9.. 11824 06625 H
-
Yep, then try 3979 for S/R. But if its on digital at all I will find it with my ST 3618 and post the coordinates here. But still nothing there right now, I do a scan every 5-10mins.
-
I have tried both combinations and there is nothing there right now, DamStrait's info on the NBC feed is still up on AMC9 right now!
-
All set here if its digital and in the clear I got it, lets keep the fingers crossed (and toes) Thats the beauty of a motorized system it follows the ark so you can "see" all the satellites, all I need now is a cheap analog system, I have been offered a few but never saw the need, up until now!
