He has been okay so far. Had some moments in either direction. The one thing I am surprised by is his 3 point shooting isn't match up with what he did at the D2 level. I think he will be better towards the 2nd half of conference play. Keep getting him to the free throw line, he has done well there.

I think this move greatly increases the probability that he stays.

Perhaps I could have worded it differently as said recent early exits. Yes, SDSU has had a stellar run in the Summit Tournament and they have another damn good team this didn't. Didn't mean to offend. I have family who are Jackrabbit alum/fans and several friends who went to SDSU, so I pull for SDSU when UND isn't playing. Good luck this year, sorry to hear that your games against Omaha got PPD because of COVID.

Ihenacho is a nice piece. Way Too soon to say anything about Bergan or Shockey right now. G is either really good or really not so good. Brady is Brady I’m excited for the Bruns kids next year, don’t know much about the big from Wisconsin.

Well, here is the glass half full approach: the team has already played without him for much of the year so there isn’t much to adjust. Does create an issue of depth now at the 3 spot.

So we have made it to the quarter pole of the Summit League season. UND is currently at 2-2 with a win on the road at Oral Roberts but a questionable loss at home verses Kansas City. They are exactly in the middle of the pack. What do we think so far? Is UND underachieving, overachieving, or is about where you expect them to be. Are there areas where they are over and under achieving currently? Surprises? Disappointments?

NDSU should come in with expectation of a sweep, they probably would be happy with a split because if you follow the mantra of sweep at home, split at home they would finish 12-4 and that would be good enough to win the league. I think it is possible for UND to sweep, they should have beaten them in Sioux Falls. Its very likely that these two teams split next week. Questions will be had on the availability of Ihenacho and DAE for next weekend, hope they are ready to go. This team is 2-2 right now with missing their starting PG in the ORU series and DAE doing next to nothing in 3 of the 4 games. I feel confident, a 1/4 of the way into the season, that UND will finish with a better conference record than they did last year.
