Yup. Holinka isn’t the guy to point fingers at right now. With the exception of the NDSU game the d has gotten better as games go on which is key. They’re the reason we were in those 3 games we lost. The only legit criticism of the d is they often start slow.

The defense had a very nice game today. Caleb Nelson is turning into a player. He had an outstanding game. Im not sure what’s going on with our red zone offense though. Should have hung 50 today easy. That needs to get figured out ASAP. Call me crazy, and I’m usually very much against this sort of thing, but I think the 2 qb stuff works for us. Can’t put my finger on it but it seems to give the o a little extra juice.

Wouldn’t mind some of their WR and DL on our roster.

This is exactly what everyone is saying too. That fact of the matter is, Otis is on his third chance now. Shouldn’t get another IMO because at that point it’s just enabling.

If it’s as simple as him being immature and unreliable this year than yes. If there are more insidious things going on then we should move on from him.

By what other metric would he show that he’s back to how he should be?

I don’t know anything definitively but from the optics it seems obvious things haven’t exactly been kosher.

Otis needs to go off to restore some faith from the fans and his teammates.

Kickers are typically the smartest, best looking, most athletic guy on a football team. It’s why other position players sometimes rag on them. Jealousy.

How many all conference accolades? We used to be a kicker factory. Hasn’t been that way. Who was the last kicker we had that felt like a weapon?

Only took that position costing us a game for us to recruit it seriously. Sounds like qb from the first few years.

Well you’re wrong on that thankfully. He understands the facilities upgrades needed and that they’re needed now.

I don’t buy that the Salukis will be overconfident for this game since they were noticeably salty about the ass kicking we handed them last spring.

I will be happy if I see a team that fights for 4 quarters. An actual 4 quarter performance.

Up until the last few games you could say Tommy is a straight up winner. You don’t bench winners. Now his hold on the starter spot seems tenuous.
