  1. Don't worry too much about the two deep for the opening game. Both players you've listed need to prove their worth in games before they'll leapfrog people. Give them a couple games.
  2. Don't remind me..... Marcus started that game on fire and the offense was rolling down the field. Then Breitbach forced Hanson in and ruined the flow for the offense. Game over after that. You would think Schleusner and Mussman learned from that debacle.
  3. Give him time he's only a soph he could earn playingtime by killing it on special teams like Dan Hendrickson did. The season is still young not all starting spots are set in stone.
  4. I'm not sure Sharp offers something we don't have with the other 4 RBs. Carr on the other hand might.
  5. I'm thinking Cheatom for sure. The other could be Stockwell. Carr is good enough to play right away but I'm not sure they want to. Who knows though, if he made enough plays in practice he can force the issue like Golladay did last year. Sharp is in the same boat as Carr with alot of older players at his position.
  6. Not really but he's a local guy and a good team guy so the coaches will look to get him in when they can. I also thought Riddle was gonna be very good. His heart was back home though. Can't blame him since he at least gave it a shot.
  7. The goal should be to give Jake Hanson a couple of series at the end. Gotta give Bartels a half and if up big hand it over to Mollberg until it's Hanson time.
  8. Gators with FR Tebow?
  9. Hell no. That would be a joke. Give them each a half if anything.
  10. Has it really been that long since we saw Marcus Hendrickson tear it up last year? He was the #2 guy and got an opportunity and broke records. Just because you didn't win the job in practice doesn't mean you can't ball. Some guys are just gamers. The notion that the #2 guy is #2 because he isn't good enough to be #1 is false. Let's just sit back and enjoy watching them both tear Valpo a new one.
  11. He had lost his passion for the game.
  12. UND 65 Valp 6
  13. It's hard to find that type of speed. Hardin is fast as hell but he isn't Chappell fast.
  14. Golladay will be on the field for the first few games. Price? Not so much. Advantage us.
  15. Worst case scenario for Mollberg is being a special read option package guys to keep defenses honest. I could see the coaches calling for all runs for a while with him to make teams think he can't pass then blowing the doors off with some deep balls. Both guys will play plenty. Here's to hoping they both stay.
  16. He's a legit 6'4"
  17. I'm pretty confident that RJ is going to redshirt. I hope Bridges makes his mark as that waterbug in the slot this year. He's a little jitterbug with a big mans strength.
  18. It's different for every player for different reasons. Needing a year of lifting. Making that connection and graduating with your class. School. Est.
  19. Maybe Carr will get his shirt pulled and RJ will use his this season.
  20. Kotelnicki isn't one to put the cart before te horse so if he's excited I'm excited.
