I adjusted the logo with a bolder beak accent and it looks good but the site isn't allowing me to post it....
-
Jim, the site is no longer allowing me to post pics. I've posted a ton of pictures lately and maybe have gone over the limit. Would you be able to up it?
-
Yea, I've thought about that. These images are still concepts and most of the lines will probably need to be thicker to make production easier and more accurate. Maybe getting rid of some of the tiny accents would be a good idea too. But priority number right now is making it look good enough to catch someones eye and get to the point where production is actually a real concern instead of a hypothetical one.

Some of the other one's I did have a white beak. Or is it a shape thing?

Angry logos try too hard. Confident logos are much stronger.

It's more than worth it to have 4 scholarships tied up in QBs.

That's the thing, if we want the logo out of our hands we can sit on them. Or, we can spread better options around and show alternatives. I think we all know that a logo by an alum would help the new nickname catch on faster and sell better. I want Ben Brein to do the logo but I'm not dumb enough to assume they would even contact him so i figured I would take some initiative and hopefully create something decent.

USD didn't have their entire staff fired. Very different. This was set up from the beginning.

I've applied for a copyright on my logo design so now I feel better about posting them. I've digitalized them in illustrator and did a couple quick photoshop renderings with hypothetical merchandise. Again, let me know what you think and feel free to be very critical because I'm dead serious about pursuing this. Another thing to remember is that even though UND said they will not accept outside submissions it is America after all and if there is enough support for a good idea I feel they would be open to a logo designed by a local artist who happens to be an alum and former athlete at UND. It would also save a ton of money so there's that.

They need to improve kickoffs, that was a liability this year. Taubenheim also needs to improve on his long FGs, I don't trust him unless it's under 45 yards.
-
It's because none of your backs are good enough to be featured. If they were theyd be getting Crockett Ojuri McNorton like carries.

I'm going to be to pussed and bitter about this for a long time. Hopefully the excitement of the recruiting season will take the edge off. To truly get over it 100% is going to take a playoff birth next season and a deep run. Even then I'll probably still have that what if feeling and major sympathy for the seniors.

It's tough on defense for our guys because we roll two deep and don't end up with one or two players with inflated stats. Also our offense controlling the clock gives our defense fewer plays to face and therefore fewer tackles.

Studsrud was a terrible passer to start the year but it was his legs that were helping us win. The choice to bomb it on 4th down against ISU, the worst INT i've ever seen against WSU, and missing Seibel in the flat when he was 10 yards away and wide open against Montana are examples of how one player failed the team. And no the running game couldn't bail the team out because teams had 9 guys in the box because we could't pass. In the last two games Studsrud was as efficient as Mellberg was the previous year right before he got hurt. Bartels just isn't cut out for this level of football, he's had ample opportunities to improve and he has digressed. And I'll say it again, I was really pulling for him specifically but it just didn't work out unfortunately.
-
He actually has't made a point.
-
Are you dense? Of course they should have won with 4th quarter leads regardless of injury. If Bartels keeps the offense on the field for one drive in either of the WSU or ISU games we win.
-
I bet he'd be a lot more respectable if he went by Otis instead of Robbert.
-
Is his middle name actually Otis?
-
The reason we lost was because of how bad Bartels was. We had so many 3 and outs against ISU because they knew he couldn't throw the ball. Against Weber he gave them the game in the 4th quarter. He also didn't exactly help us at all against Montana. It sucks because I was pulling for him, but at the end of the day he just wasn't getting it done.
