  1. I wouldn't call him a newcomer. I'd call him a potential new impact player. Perhaps that will have its own thread one day...
  2. I would pick Grady since he didn't play last year but he started the year before so I'll spread out the love a little Stewart - could be the key to the defense. If he can stay healthy and be the FS we so desperately need our secondary will be scary. Haas - Length for days and nothing but good reports out of spring. I've had this guy pegged since he committed, please don't make me look dumb. Larson - Has stud written all over him. I expect this shirt to get pulled early. McKinney - Kind of like Stewart to the defense, this guy could be the key for the offense. If he can be a legit deep threat we will be in business. Zimmerman - we finally have a backup qb..... I think. If he is legit that means Studs doesn't have to play like he's on a yellow(soccer reference).
  3. We're in the horse latitudes right now for football.... so who do you think will be the top 5 newcomers to step up and contribute this coming season. I define a newcomer as someone who wasn't on the 2 deep last year and at most contributed on special teams.
  4. Hate to break it to you but you couldnt be more wrong.
  5. According to the recruiting gurus from your home site Iowa and ISU no longer had offers to him. UNI also backed away.
  6. Yo Greibel, do you even lift?
  7. None of his plays in particular stand out to my memory. Maybe some highlights of him against UNI?
  8. That was the longest game I've ever been to. I was absolutely starving after,
  9. Texas Tech finished ranked 21st in the AP poll with a 9-4 record. We won't know who was better until after the season.
  10. See my last post.
  11. If I have to slap a JohnboyND7 imma make it look sexy.
  12. Rattelle sacking Wentz. Rettelle blowing up the NDSU RB who tried to jump. Rattelle at the goal line stuffing Prukop. Juwon Johnson huge hit, can't remember who it was against. He may have gotten a penalty for flexing after. Harris pick 6 against Bowling Green Any one of the many times Dan Hendrickson blew somebody apart on kickoff coverage.
  13. We need to blast the kind of music that will offend the blue hairs. Kendrick Lamar's HUMBLE would be a good one.
  14. Rattelle killing people. Tillmans huge hit. Harris NAU pick 6. A Wanzek catch. Brady trucking the Poly NT. Digger's stop against NDSU. Mustard tightrope catch. Kenny G one handed snag against Poly his true fr year. Santiago shake n bake against NAU. Some defensive highlight against WYO.
  15. Studsrud and the OL were a major let down to start the year. Our LTs were getting eaten alive. There was no push in the run game. Hopefully this year with the readdition of Grady it will be better from day 1.
  16. Hopefully the music will finally thump the way it should.
  17. I'm highly objective when I view UND. I try to do the same with NDSU. I don't have blind hatred for NDSU and I don't have green colored glasses stapled to my face.
  18. Yes I do. I watched every snap and by the end of the year we were a top 10 team at least.
  19. We didn't look like a pretender until the 4th quarter against that banged up Richmond team. We were eating their lunch in that game until we choked on it. This year I look forward to us avoiding the best teams in our terrible conference once again.
  20. The Insiders just had Douple on to talk about the state of the Summit and he sounds like a complete doofus. The IUPUI exit blind sided the league and he seems to favor more southern options or D2 teams to fill the void.
  21. No I'm pretty sure they would have mopped the floor with us. That's at least according to the Gospel of Dan.
