NORTH DAKOTA vs. St. Cloud - SATURDAY Gameday

3x3 is for skill and speed we have few players with those attributes. Wolanin is one of them. Say what you want about the risks he takes but he is pretty incredible. -

I’m sure Olson is a good kid but man he is brutal on the ice. He’s just not good enough for this level. -

I still can’t believe I saw that and I’m not surprised this crew called it. They’ve been a joke all weekend. -

Those Hawk rejects are pretty decent. -

Depends how many times a clown grabs one of our guys’ sticks and hits himself in the face with it. -

A few times already tonight our guys have struggled to elevate the puck in tight on the goalie. We could be up 4 or 5 to zip if they could get the puck above the leg pads. -
Maybe you should have identified as someone actually good at basketball?
-
Did he seriously grab Bast’s stick and hit himself in the face with it? Am I seeing things?
-
Banging bodies tonight. It’s nice to see.
-
Man Simo really let Wolanin down on back to back plays there.
-
He's still a little thin but you can see his twitch is different when he lifts. The weight moves off the floor just a bit faster than the other guys. If he's not big enough to play DE then he absolutely should be OLB.
-
Loads of great info here. Lots of weight updates as well. Tank has put on over 30 lbs but still isn’t over 300..... he was around 265 to end last season....
-
Yea they’d have that sweet blackhawks bird.
-
So exactly how it is now? Can it project the hopes and dreams of young girls in the area?
-
Hmmmm... I seem to remember packed basketball games used to be an event in Grand Forks. The population must have deceased since then.
-
Yea but they care deeply and have a large social media presence...
-
They are funded by their loyal fans.

Here's a thought. How about instead of an AHL team we have a professional women's team called the Fighting Sioux. They can play their home games at Riverside Park.
-
This would not surprise me in the slightest. Pathetic is the only word that comes to mind. There's a lot more to life than a nickname and logo that we no longer use.
-
This is so dumb. The religion of the Fighting Sioux nickname....
-
We need more legends.
-
Tough to say early on in his tenure but I appreciate that he has vision and the balls to make a tough decision.
-
And all of a sudden the game is more intense and exciting. Crazy how that works. Also, there were actually fans at that game. That helps.
-
Both of those guys were diamonds in the rough. Not highly thought of at all.

The spring game should be more of an event. It's a glorified practice right now.
