He was tied for the team lead so it’s not like Montana losing the guy with 100 tackles production wise. However, he was a huge piece of our success because of his speed and coverage ability.

This is the type of play I want to see more of with Santiago. So many options for us and so much to worry about for them.

Plenty of HS coaches are complete hacks and highly biased and generally incapable of being objective when selecting anyone for honors.

I’m not advicating bully anyone to come, which is impossible btw. Throw in the point that @bincitysioux made about playoffs and it’s a no brainer to move the section even if they do start to fill the seats consistently.

I put absolutely zero weight in all EDC or all state in ND, or anywhere for that matter.

How many students do you think are going to ask/care what yard line the student section is on? NDSU has theirs completely on the end and they survive and show up and have a great time.

Just rewatched Palmborgs injury and it’s a good lesson in physics for athletes. If you want to cut at speed to the left at a sharp angle, you’ve got to do it with your right leg or both legs. If it’s just the left leg and you try and plant it inside and cut outside you compromise your knee.
