Rumor out of Missoula, per boots on the ground, is that the Cats and Griz will make a push to join the Pac-12 after NDSU's jump.
The PAC could really benefit from adding the Montanas, UND, SDSU and maybe Cal Davis. That would be 12.

You are saying The Summit should kick NDSU out of the conference because they are winning too much and dominating the conference like MiAC did to St Thomas?
What does Denver have to do with it? They left, not kicked out.
NDSU’s football affiliation is not grounds to be removed from a non-football conference.
You want to beat them to the punch because they might leave in 5+ years?
The idea to form a conference with the other northern schools makes more sense and, in the end, would be a stronger conference than the new MWC. Focus your energy there. Then, if you are going to be vindictive, don’t invite NDSU to the new conference.

So you’re sayin’ there’s a chance?

The Summit does not sponsor a football conference. If there was a Summit football conference, there might be a slight chance that this would be discussed.
TSL has no control over NDSU’s football affiliation.

Native American group vows Supreme Court fight over woke New York mascot ban
https://www.foxnews.com/us/native-american-group-vows-supreme-court-fight-woke-new-york-mascot-ban
excerpts from the article:
The Native American Guardian’s Association (NAGA) argued that the New YorkBoard of Regents’ 2023 rule banning the use of Native names or imagery by public schools is discriminatory and violates the 14th Amendment’s guarantee of equal treatment under the law.
"Today, we take the next step in our journey to the United States Supreme Court, which is the only logical finish line," NAGA counsel Chap Petersen said in a statement. "The ‘Native Name Ban’ laws are both offensive and plainly unconstitutional. Their very existence is an embarrassment to all Americans, as well as the Native community."
NAGA has stated that its broader goal is to eliminate such bans nationwide, including restoring names like the "Fighting Sioux" in North Dakota.
Winning this case should lead to the wholesale voiding of ‘Name Ban’ laws, including the cancellation of the ‘Fighting Sioux’ name and symbol in North Dakota," NAGA President Clayton Anderson, who is enrolled in the Hidatsa Tribe, said in a statement.
They’re only targeting one group, one ethnicity, to say you can’t be recognized, you can't be celebrated by the teams," Peterson added. "That’s a violation of the 14th amendment, which prohibits racial discrimination and gives all people equal protection under the law regardless of race or ethnicity."

To add to this, as someone on here had previously mentioned, the games where he had lots of rushing attempts were games we lost.
- 13 attempts against USD (this is when the season turned for him and his play declined) Schedule got much better so that factors in too
- 17 attempts against NDSU
- 14 attempts against SDSU
The season is long and grueling already, putting this much on him at the end certainly didn’t help.
The QB should not be the leading rusher

8 w's came against teams whose season is over. 4 of 5 losses to teams still playing. So yeah.
K-State is bowl eligible with 6 wins, so all 5 losses to teams still playing in December

Someone with a connection should remind Freuchte to watch UND's first 6 games and remember how he called them.

This is how I see it. A 5 loss MVFC team won’t get in over a 4 loss Big Sky team.
Loser out game next weekend! I love it.
So… UND’s second round playoff game is Saturday vs SDSU.

How often is the punter only 11 yards deep from the line of scrimmage? That is a short trip for the defense. Would guess more of those are blocked than ‘clean’.

understanding this is football…
Leaves perennial basketball power Kansas out, but includes UConn?Neither Arizona school?

They would also join the B1G or the Big12 if they could.
Why would a conference who's media rights just got slashed add school so far out of their footprint?
They already picked up the central time zone with NIU (football only), why would they keep adding extra slices to a shrinking pie?And there is the issue with the Dakotas going FBS.

Complain all you want about a cupcake game like yesterday…
Sulik probably had more field time yesterday than JK got all last season.
Another observation? maybe the coaches don’t want a lot of Ziebarth on film going in to conference play

Well, for starters, their football fan base travels as well as UND’s hockey. And to be blunt, like NDSU’s football fans. That sells tickets.
