So we as fans should be satisfied with the performance of the team ?

I don’t believe Berry is going anywhere but also doesn’t seem able to change with the times.

And 1 NCAA win since 2016 and recruiting that seems to have hit some low spots. Lack of discipline has been an issue since he took over also.

This should bother every UND fan , recruits choosing not to come here after committing and others not choosing us at all and the on ice perfomance , this screams coaching issues. Poor discipline and condtioning is also on this list.

I have said this in the past that Berrys system makes offensive players seem mediocre , maybe we need a younger coach who can bring in a new system.

So we don’t need a team of grindaz?

So something needs to change , either Berry adapts or he goes away. Right now the culture he preaches is not being played on the ice.

This is one of the worst teams I’ve seen since I started really following this hockey team in the early eighties, this reminds me of a Gino’s last years. This will take years to flip this around. Next year he will have to dip into the portal again because a lot of he recruits aren’t panning out and imho players don’t like his style of play, ND where good offensive players come to get worse.

How far does this program sink before changes are made

True but the head coach seals the deal and Berry hasn’t proved he can seal the deal in high end recuits.

Think it may be deeper then that , but it’s all about the $

I know posting this people will say Berry is going no where but let’s look at facts, one NCAA win since 2017 missed the tourney and lost lots of big games. Always the same excuses , gave it our all , didn’t execute etc. poor recruiting , not sure on this because lots of these players were great in jr and they come here and don’t progress , also on Berry. We have a team with lack of discipline , seems like poor condtioning and lack of focus. We looked like a high school team against a college team for most of Saturday night. I have said this before maybe Berry needs to look at his processes and even his staff. The last six years have been brutal as far as winning or not winning big games. Why are we losing recruiting battles and having recuits leave or we cut them loose and they become good players for other teams? Maybe players see what kind of system Berry plays or try’s to and don’t want any part of it. The cupboards not bare yet but Berry may need to change to utilize it. When you have lineups that make no sense to most hockey fans or underperforming players still fill keys roles that’s on the coaching
