Not sure why deridder was not an option for Berry, even when it got to 5-4 he should have put him in. I think they need two d1 goalies next year with Johnson as the third practice goalie. Helston is just not going to cut it.

Doesn’t the coaching staff have some blame in this they see the plays but still trot the same players out every shift, maybe a few shifts at the end of the bench would send a message that you play the right way or you sit. On second thought maybe their playing Berrys style , we don’t know.

How does other teams evolving make us worse defensively ?

So I ask this board what is different from this year and last? Basically the same d corps and they struggle, and not just them them fowards have seem to forgotten they have responsibilities also.

So if 15 would take his covid year you would have 15,4,24,6 and 4 freshman , seems like a good mix. If 25 stayed would they run 9 D or someone may hit the portal.

I think Frisch plays a fifth year , Kleven may not , plays the guys you recruited and develop them into the players you thought they would be , agree 17 and 9 need to be split up both puck hawks all the time.

I agree the goaltending is brutal , but how many goals have been scored by leaving someone uncovered in front of the net or not covering the trailer on the play , way way to many.

Exactly, how many times are the d leading the rush or playing deep in the offensive zone. Protect your own end , good break outs and play D!!!!!

26 is a second rounder , rookie of the year last year in the ushl and 19-10-28 player over him. How did our first line produce this weekend , how did 28 do? All invisible in my books. 6-26-29-21 all should play the rest of the year. Not sure what Berry does to these players , all produce in the USHL and come to North Dakota where good players come to get mediocre.

Once again this year it looks like we ran out of gas, conditioning has been another issue all year, how many leads have we given up this year in the third.

Whoever is in charge of the defense isn’t getting it done, yet nothing changes with this group. If your at your job and your performance is horrible you may be demoted or dismissed you don’t just get to spin it and do the same thing over and over again. Two losses this year Denver sat. night and now western Saturday night some of the most terrible home games I have sat through. If Berry doesn’t lose his job he needs to show the ability to make changes to push this program forward , right now we are in reverse. Seventh place in the league, worst save % in the country.
