I live near St. Cloud. Al Pearson's bus always stays at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn that is connected to the Green Mill Restaurant and the convention center. The fans hang out at MC's Dugout a short walk from the Kelly Inn. In the past there has been a joint St. Cloud/UN fan social Saturday around 4;30 at Brother's Pub which is also a close walk from the Kelly Inn.

There really are no dives. Staying downtown is great because there are lots of really good restaurants.
