Oh its hockey related, should make the ice in the arena hard and fast.
I just hope it warms up so we don't freeze to death going from the parking lot to the arena.
I saw that fight yesterday as well, he didn't do all that well against LaPerriere, who is a hack in my opinion so I give him Kudos for standing up against him. Matt will get better at fighting, he is getting better all the time at Defense...
The equipment is just too big. That is the main problem. Look around the league and look at the size of the chest protectors and leg pads and gloves. I know the NHL got smaller equipment but I am not sure about college. I was told once they certify the equipment the refs don't look at the goalies equipment again.
They Drink Molson instead of Miller Lite? And to that I say I dont' think so to that one, during the WJC they sold more beer in a couple of games than UND sold during a season of hockey. I heard someone at the Ralph talking about this in the beer vending stand. I have partied with Canadians in Canada and in the States and they are by far just as big of drinkers than Americans.
I think that making the nets larger is a bad idea. I do think the Goalies equipment is way too and they shoud cut at least another inch off of the leg pads. Go back and look at the size of the goalie as opposed to how big they are now. I saw a picture of Belfour over at the Subway next on gateway and he looks a heck smaller than say Peter Manino whos pads look way too big even compared to his team mate Glen Fisher. My God.
Very weak call he embellished it a lot, there is no way that should have been a 5 minute major. Other than that call I thought the ref was pretty good all weekend. I was wondering if we could get him for next weekend.
Good call I don't see this punk making it in the NHL. The NHL players would eat him alive the first time he chopped a top smaller skilled player into the boards. In that case I could see the officials getting out of the way and letting justice take its course.
I agree with that statement, on other sites they will pull the plug for one stupid comment. Warning will be issued and any further violations will result in a termination of that person's posting rights. Many of us would be gone already, a long time ago.
SCSU, C.C. has played two more games than the Sioux and they are 6 games out. If they get sweep and the Sioux sweep we have 2 points to make up with two games in hand. I don't think UND has a chance to catch SCSU.
Chicago's coach reminds me of the Bruins old one, Bring people up and if they don't light the world on fire in the 11+ minutes they get a game they are toast. Thrown on the scrap heap. Boston is about 10 days from deciding if they are going to dump salaries or if they are going to make a trade for a run. If they have a fire sale I see Bochenski playing a lot. Kind of auditioning for a job next season. From watching the Bruins play the last 4 games they are starting to gell lines with Kessel playing between the 1st and 2nd lines. I don't see Bochenski playing any where but on the third or fourth line which would put him with a slow checking line with guys like Mowers - Primeau - Donovan or on a line with guys like this Reich - Chistov - Tenkrat. I wouldn't be too surprised to see him in Providence either. We will see.
Funny thing is all of us agree but the league won't do it. Its political.
Where is RW_77 when we need him. Lets get the Fire Sheppard thread going again.
