According to the experts on XM 204 that by acquiring Smith from the Oilers they are hoping they can sign one of the two UFA's Blake and or Smith at the end of the season. The Islanders are in a middle of a playoff chase so they are going to take their chances on Blake. I guess his four points tonight makes his case.

Aint going to happen because WDAZ is a second rate tv station. Second they are more concerned about pre-empting re-runs. So I am just going to forget about it.

Yeah that's true. I am wondering where are going to come up with that kind of money, BSU isn't a rich school and most of their facilities are old and run down. They were when I went to school there and that was 1992.

Sioux 7 wrote this for my blog and got some serious flames; Sioux_7 addresses expansion Funny he mention MSU-M too. They aren't going to move though. The only problem what do you do with 9 teams. Do you make the 9th placed team stay home. Or do you give the first place team a bye? Not likely. I think eventually your going to see UNO and BSU as members of the WCHA.

If there is a part of his game that I really like is Kozek can hit and he is not very big. I am holding out hope that he is going to score in bunchs next season if he gets the chance. It will depend on who goes and what kind of top end talent UND gets in the off season.

DU Homers Why is it when UND writers and fans complain about the reffing its HALOISM but it's ok for opposing teams and their writers to complain about the refs its ok. Basically from what I have read the DU fans and their writers have complained about Anderson losing the game for the PIO's I suppose Anderson will get himself suspended this weekend. It's also laughable that DU fans would complain about PUNKO not getting a favorable call when he almost killed Robbie. For once I will take the Officals calling a game in our favor and not getting screwed by them.

I think there is a big drop down in talent from Oshie, Towes Duncan to even most of the rest of the guys on the team. For instance Porter is a talented guy but he is more of a checker and mucker, his role really isn't scoring. I am hoping Zajac is half as talented as his brother, he has shown a few glimpses of greatness but I don't know. Watkins has gotten better this season but he is more a role player that scores as a bonus and checks first. Kozek is suppose to be in the first tier along with Forney but he hasn't shown the offensive spark. This year UND has two lines it can count on. IF the D.O.T. line gets shut down the Sioux are going to be in trouble. I am hoping next season Kozek and Watkins start burying pucks.
