So the CCHA is trying to pick off the Badgers. Yeah, I don't see that happening. I can't see Wisconsin wanting to give up their share of the money from the WCHA. Also why would they consider Western Michigan, BGSU and Miami of Ohio for the Big Ten Hockey Conference. That's a joke right? I see this as a push to regionalize College Hockey and get some realignment.

You might want to compare houses and their values of the two cities. Grand Forks house seem to be more over priced. Just saying. My wife's aunt built a new house in Fargo a few years ago for about 90,000 and that same house would probably cost a lot more in Grand Forks, ND. Maybe we are comparing apples to oranges or apples to apples. The fact remains that the Alerus center is a drain on the city no matter how you slice it. I think the main point is the city is playing loose with our money and Whistler has done a pretty good job breaking down the issues over on Say anything blog.

I actually think the Alerus is a horrible venue for football, I know a lot of people that think the place is stale and a horrible place to watch football, In fact I will take an upgraded Memorial Stadium any day.

It was like 578.00 last year for the whole three days. There are a lot of rules as well, I remember getting the riot act when I check in. Then you pay 45.00 for parking in their lot as well. Some people got kicked out the first night for violating the no party clause. I really like staying there because it was right across from the arena and you could walk/stumble to everything that you needed. Great Bars, Dunn Brothers coffee.
