Personally, I don't blame him and maybe his NHL team told him to get the surgery and bag the rest of the season... I know the surgery takes quite a bit of time to heal and if he waited till the season is over he might not be ready for training camp in the fall. If keeps playing he could further injure himself. His recovery will take 4 months. That's a long time.

Hey do they have xl or xxl shirts?

There are a lot of goalies getting that injury for some reason, Backstrom and Tim Thomas recently had surgury for that injury.

Do they have special tires for this?

I agree it's a little too late because they are probably tired of getting beat up for doing nothing for so long...

I think with the amount chest thumping that the ECAC media and that their fans have been doing, I think if the schedule plays out we will see the ECAC teams go back to traditional one or two ECAC teams in the NCAA tourney with them getting bounced in the first or second round. Then this circular argument will be mute and it's fun arguing with them. The old cliche that we can put a suit on a goat but it's still a goat.

I think it's worth the fight but a little too late... Where were they when we needed them a few years back...

The part that I think is funny is that the ECAC fans are almost beligerant when anyone dares question the strenght of their league or the rankings of their teams. Yale actually tied Wisconsin and lost to them in a shoot out last year in the Wisconsin tourney.

I think if the Sioux come out from the drop of the pick and run them out of the building they will fold... Hit everything that moves, get a body on them... Gophers are pathetic on special teams this season and are 10th on the PP and 11th on the power play that means UND can capitalize on their brutal PK... I would also recommending putting that body on C-Piss every chance he gets, make it hurt, I am not saying run head into the end boards but don't give him an inch... His antics bore me, drama queen and diver... The Gophers are a Euro type finesse team and they don't wants nothing to do with UND. The Gophers are something 1-3-2 their last 6 games...
