I think the have been a bit of the rough side since Sandy has been the coach... I don't know about anyone else, but I actually like the rougher series, they are more exciting games to watch on the ice. More emotions. Last night's game had a tension to it. Loved watching the dust up by the UMD players box, it showed that they were into the game.

LOL!!!! I think that was a Rhetorical question. I would start him both games if I was the coaching staff. I also agree, that Saunders was the reason the Saturday game was close.

There is a positive to this move... It does take a bad on ice official off of the ice.

All I can say is, the hiring of Don Adam is a major head scratchier for me. I guess the coaches to a man wanted this guy so... I don't know, I guess the NCHC coaches think he's a good official. I can't figure it out... The problem I have seen with the SCSU game on Saturday night and I have watched the game about three times on my DVR and it appears that is that Tim Walsh is definitely the weak link of the two officials.

I wonder if we're going to see Clarke this weekend?

Maybe said player had an excuse and wanted to hang out with an old team mate? Also, Jack Parker is pretty old school, I would imagine that Parker was advised of this.

I don't think they have as many ducks because a lot of the Minnesota Hunters are hunting over in ND. I know my Brother hunts ducks in Minnesota and a sub-par to mediocre hunt in North Dakota seems to satisfy them. SD hunting licenses for Pheasants were 108.00 last time I hunted there. Ouch, I am sure they are more now.

Having lived in MN and having a brother that lives in Minnesota that hunts here in ND and also in SD... It's a tough deal and it's expensive for nonresident license fees.

I had this discussion with my buddy at the hunting shack this past weekend. I believe that the coaching staff has a complex defensive system that takes time to jell. Whatever they’re doing seems to click as the season evolves. Thoughts on that? I am just throwing it against the wall to see if it sticks. Also, SCSU is a very good hockey team.

I think this could be a weekend where some players come out of their funk. Just think if Rocco Grimaldi and Danny Kristo stopped hitting pipes.

I listened to game one on the radio and I watched game two on my DVR last night when I got home... The game on Saturday night was one of the worst officiated games that I have seen in some time. On the way back from Cando on Saturday night Hakstol was livid after the game about the officiating. I think that the NCHC coaches made a huge mistake by making him the head of officials.
