That regional was one of my all-time best hockey experiences. I was in the bathroom after the first game and a Gopher fan comes up to me, and said, "hey we would have won." I said, "you're kidding right?" Skippy continued, "We would have won." I said Skippy, "your team is already on I29 headed home, you're done." For some reason Gopher fans like to confront you in the bathroom when your hands are tied up. The building was so loud and then UND had to play Michigan. I sure Michigan was trilled to be in the arena after that.

If I am not mistaken, Miami was decent in non-conference play. Miami was 9-3 in the non-conference play. That counts a 3-1 record in the NCHC playoffs.

You do realize that the Boston College Eagles use the dump and chase too and they cycle the puck... They had to use the dump and chase against Lowell last weekend.

Bingo, the hockey guys in the NHL like the way Hak coaches the team because they play a pro-style game and he runs is program the same way. There's a reason Starman goes out of his way to compliment the UND hockey program, the guy is a scout with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The guy know his hockey. I saw some Gopher fan whining about Starman complimenting UND.
