That's the way the fans of the teams that weren't like-minded schools spun it. Apparently, Gwoz and Faison were the driving forces behind the NCHC.I thought it was a great move. The other schools in the mix don't seem to get the blame that DU and UND do. SCSU begged to get into the NCHC, but don't share any of the blame. Same with Duluth, Miami, UNO and C.C.. Again, Dilks trolls UND fans because he knows he will get a reaction and it gets him page view and sessions for his SBN College Hockey. That's what keeps his blog running. It's a smart move.

That should be a story in the mainstream media, but it's not. If they join the NCHC, they would probably be under the same NCHC.TV package that everyone else is on.

One thing I haven't seen mention here is, UMD, UND, SCSU, MSUM, UNO were all members of the now defunct NCC. We have a storied history with all of these schools. I find it puzzling when I read people's comments about those schools. IMHO, they're all core schools int he NCHC and they've been awesome league members. I am not sure why some are banging on SCSU and MSUM? Since it's inception, SCSU, DU and UND have had the most success with the NCHC. The MAC Schools, not so much. The Mavericks would be a better fit for the league than BGSU.

Per Schloss and I believe that I mentioned that in the past. Some members of the NCHC are wary about the arena situation there — Arizona State has nothing concrete yet — but all signs point to a strong possibility that the Sun Devils wind up in the NCHC.

I am still not convinced they won't lose one or two of their freshman class. Clayton Keller was drafted by Windsor Spitfires of the OHL. That's one of those teams that goes hard after their draftees. They're also hosting the Memorial Cup.

I found a tv at Sam's Club that had ROKU built right into it. That could help with NCHC.TV if they go that route.

I would recommend the Chandler area for your dining needs.

Personally, I would say yes, they've added a Buffalo Wild Wings and have a Green Mill. Also, during the summer the country club had decent food.

It appears that someone jumped the gun with the ASU story. The WCHA and the NCHC are hesitant to take a program that doesn't have an acceptable arena.

Except for Ed, I respect all of those guys, I think they do a great job and are very professional.

I bought my first Hawks pull over from Scheels back in April. I figured what the hell.

It will be interesting to see if all of them make it to BU.

They'll be great for the first half of the season and then lose 14/18 down the stretch.
