" Conor O'Flaherty of the design company, SME, says the work has been delayed several weeks because university leaders had to concentrate on budget cuts ordered by Govenror Dalrymple. "
How does that delay them several weeks? Design a logo. That's it. You don't need to be contacting these people all that often (if at all).

Anyone know if the NCAA or UND will eventually sell the replay of the national title game and/or semifinal games on Bluray or DVD? That's a DVD that I could watch over and over again.
I don't know anything about this, but I do know the game is on Youtube. Search something like, "2016 frozen four north dakota quinnipiac" Should do for now anyways.

I know in the long run this doesn't really matter but I was really curious why Garteig didn't get a penalty called on him for delay of game when he clearly took his own helmet off. I for the life of me could not understand that missed call. Now it truly could have been a missed call but the positioning of the ref seemed to show him in a good position to call that. Again it really had no bearing on the game but was an obvious delay of game. I also have no idea what Drake was thinking when he crossed checked Garteig. Drake was called for a penalty and rightly so.
Without having rewatched it yet, my thought on the mask was that when he was on his back, his helmet was already halfway off his face. I feel like I've seen it before where for their own safety they knock their helmets off to get the whistle since half of their face is exposed and they can't see anything. As for Drake, my hope is that he was just pushing off to turn and go the other way. Not sure what he'd be thinking checking the goalie in the back.

Read the game preview on ncaa site. Toews said something along the lines of...their fans were pretty loud too and it will be interesting to see who is louder tonight.
Yeah....
I wonder how much of that volume was from UND fans at the game cheering against BC?

Anyone know where the big watch party is in MSP? Is it still Sensors??
There is one at Joe Senser's in Bloomington as well as The Loop on Washington Ave in Minneapolis.

Is anyone watching at The Loop in Minneapolis? Curious as to what the crowd will look like.
A few friends and myself are thinking about going....still waiting to hear back from some guys. I wasn't able to be there on Thursday, but last year vs. BU had a pretty good crowd.

How the hell did they not call that trip?!
Which one?!? I thought there were two trips they could have called on that one pass attempt across the crease.

We got this form sent to us today through our concierge program. Slightly discounted Frozen Faceoff tickets. Wasn't sure quite where to post it and didn't want to start a new thread, but here ya go!

Of these two concepts, I like first one.
I agree. I like how they incorporated the Sioux history in both too. I'm nervous the company we hired will ignore it completely.

Randomly watching the NHL throughout the year, they really seem to be emphasizing "american" stuff...heres a chart of the top american players on the team. Heres' the American stop players for todays game. And they seem to make a conscious effort to point out the US colleges these players attend.
Has it always been this way or has this amount of stuff increased in recent years in response to something (a shift in better US players, a need to connect the game to the US viewer more)?
I've noticed that too in the limited NHL on NBC I've seen. But they also billed yesterday as "Hockey Day in America," so that probably had a lot to do with it too.

Yeah, I posted that when I thought the game was at 6:00.
Didn't get a good replay on the penalty, but it looked liked two Broncos held each other.
