So North Stars is supposedly the front runner. If North Stars is the new name, UND will have the same colors and name as Hazen/Beulah's hockey team.
If this happens, I hope they get rid of the yellow. Just use green, black, and white. Yellow makes it look kinda gross.

The watch party got moved from the Pourhouse to the Loop in Minneapolis for tonight. I enjoy Sensors but I think I am stuck watching at home via sling tv tonight.
Thanks for the update! Any idea what was behind the change?

Anyone else planning on going to The Pourhouse last year it was packed. It was a pretty cool atmosphere to be apart of.
Me and at least one other will be there. Hoping to get a hold of more in our potential group tonight.

If you're desperate, I would suggest constantly checking this site next week. This is how I got tickets when it was in St. Paul. Last mintues tickets get released sometimes. Good luck!

Do you have to be 21 to attend?
It shouldn't be 21+ for pregame festivities or even after UND plays. After the late game, however, most likely 21+. I would guess the cutoff time would be around 10 PM.

You do not have to leave between games, there is only one ticket for each daily session. Last year we were able to get scanned out, grab a bite to eat, then scan back in for the second game. I'm hoping their re-entry policy is the same this year.
They have re-entry, so you can leave and get back in the same day with your ticket and wristband you get when leaving.
RE-ENTRY POLICY
Fans can exit the tournament and return at any time - they just need to pick up a re-entry wristband on their way out. They will need to present the wristband and tournament ticket for re-admission to the event.

I agree. The announcer kept saying that Tiffels DEFINITELY took out Williams. I thought Williams just slid out of the crease on his own. Tough break for WMU.

My nugget to add is this, this is the first time in a long time, I have absolutely no fear when someone takes a penalty. Between Zane and this team's ability to score a man short, the "always were" chant is finally correct.
I can't believe the semi-recent students stole the "always were/that's debatable" chant from Minnesota. Makes me cringe every time I hear it. It's so stupid.

So to break it down. If I live in Minneapolis and do not have cable, is this worth buying, or will there be alternative ways to see games?

The thing about Senser's (at least the Roseville location) is that on their website they say they have Music Video Bingo on Thursdays. I don't want to deal with that, so I'm going to Buffalo Wild Wings, also in Roseville.

Found a friendly island in a sea of enemy territory to watch.
Where is this? I'm in the cities and was planning on going to Joe Senser's in Roseville but I see on their calendar online that they have music video bingo from 8-10. Might have to trek down to the Bloomington one now.

In the Twin Cities. Would consider the official watch party at Pourhouse, but the Gopher fan of a wife probably won't go for that. Will most likely end up hoping for a split crowd at Joe Senser's in Roseville.

Color me shocked that UND-Minnesota is the night game.....wow. I thought for sure they'd have BC Johny and the boys from Union in the nightcap.
My guess is that the highest seed plays the night game. Since the Gophers are overall #1, their semi-final is the night game. If SCSU would have won, the UND-SCSU game would have been the early game.

I think the lists are based on individual submissions, not the nicknames. Seems like it's a Considered list and a Total list. So some names go on the non-considered list due to the rationale or other reasons, while a different submission for the same name has better rationale, therefore, goes on the considered list. Hopefully that makes sense, that's my understanding of it at least.
